Fronheiser Pools began in the summer of 1965 as a part time business run by Kenneth Fronheiser. Even as a small business, Fronheiser Pools earned a reputation for quality swimming pool construction, which continues today. Ken's son, Ronald Fronheiser, began working full-time with Fronheiser Pools in 1971 after graduating from Penn State University.

Gunite Pools

Fronheiser will come out and tie steel inside the excavated hole. This step is very critical in that the quality of the rebar will help to determine the structural strength of the pool. Dry-mix gunite is one of two main materials used in the construction of a Gunite, or sometimes called "Concrete" pool.
