Pool Design

We create customized in-ground pool designs tailored to Connecticut properties' unique topography and climate conditions. Our engineering ensures structural integrity against freeze-thaw cycles while maximizing usability. Clients receive detailed visualizations and lifetime maintenance projections before construction begins.

Installation

Our installation process uses proprietary techniques preventing common issues like underground pipe failures. Steel-reinforced walls come with lifetime warranties, and all systems are pressure-tested before client handover. Average installation time ranges 4-6 weeks depending on complexity.

Maintenance

We offer comprehensive maintenance programs ensuring optimal pool condition year-round. Services include chemical balancing, equipment inspections, and debris removal. Most clients report spending under 10 minutes weekly on manual maintenance with our automated systems.

Seasonal Closings

Our winterization service protects pools during cold months through plumbing line insulation, equipment disassembly, and secure cover installation. We schedule appointments on first-come basis and recommend early booking due to limited availability before freeze dates.

Liner Replacement

We provide custom-fitted vinyl liners with 20-year pro-rated warranties. Installation includes precise measurements and removal of old materials. Custom orders require 3-4 weeks for manufacturing and delivery, with professional installation included in replacement packages.

What a beautiful job Rick Tanguay and the team did building our pool. Not only was it cost effective compared to other companies, you will not find a better team to install a pool for you. His many years of experience in the pool installation industry is second to none. Rick fills you in on the steps of the process and answers any questions. Done in less than a week! Our pool is beautiful! They really cleaned up nice! Once complete, he gives you a mini training on how everything works. We highly recommend as we are highly satisfied! If you are looking to install a pool, look no further, Tanguay is your man!

Exactly 1 year ago today Tanguay pools broke ground in our backyard! I can't recommend Rick and his amazing crew enough! This is our very first year with our new pool and we feel like we're on vacation in our own backyard! The entire process from start to finish was flawless including the site work we were so pleasantly surprised with how neat, clean and quick this project was! Best decision we ever made!

Tanguay Pools did a phenomenal job helping us design and install our pool. Rick Tanguay and his team are the ultimate professionals. They are honest with their business dealings and are people of tremendous integrity. They installed our pool with no surprises or extra fees. They are quick and efficient with installation and are extremely neat throughout the process. If I were to do it all over again I would still choose Tanguay Pools! I did quite a bit of research and I would recommend them to anyone!

Rick Tanguay installed our pool eighteen years ago and has opened and closed it every year since. My husband and I say that hiring Rick was one of the best decisions we've made since owning this house. He's incredibly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and responsible. Whenever the least thing goes wrong with the pump or filter etc., we can call Rick and he'll be there usually that day. Just recently we had a problem with our filter.

My husband called Rick suggested my husband check one thing on the skimmer. The flap was stuck and just freeing that corrected the whole problem. The other great talent that Rick Tanguay has is a great design sense. He off centered our L-shaped pool in our yard and as a result, it's made our whole backyard look so much nicer all these years. Anyone I've recommended Tanguay Pools to has been so grateful for the referral. I know you will be thrilled with the results and will not go wrong choosing this company for your pool installation!

Excellent experience with Mr. Tanguay himself this evening. Had a horrible experience with Leslie Pools and then AquaMasters, so we called up Rick to see if he could help. I expected a couple weeks or at least a few days until an appointment, but he came right over, in between calls at other houses, to take a look. Turns out the other companies made some very bad actions on our pool and equipment. He was able to repair the issues and provided honest and straightforward information. Great prices and highly recommend. Will be calling on again for any future pool needs.
