Acid washing is the preferred method for removing stains from plaster and Pebbletec pool surfaces. The process involves draining the water and applying an acid-based cleaning solution that is scrubbed on to achieve the best result. Some pools may also have calcium nodules built up on their plaster (that resemble bird droppings) these can normally be sanded off while the pool is still drained.
