A graduate of George Washington University, and a proud and active alum, Doug started working for Winker Pool Management, Inc. in 1972 as an Area Supervisor. The business, founded by his father, Dr. Lawrence Winkler in 1954 as Swimco, was the first pool management company of its kind in the country.

Winkler Pool Management offers a wide variety of swimming lessons suited to meet every skill level. All courses are taught by WPM employees and many are certified by the American Red Cross. Swimming lessons range from programs for infants and beginning swimmers to intermediate and more advanced swimmers.

We have designed our Supervisor program to facilitate the best possible customer service for you. Our Supervisors are fully certified lifeguards and pool operators for the jurisdictions in which they work.
