We are very excited to use our new pool that was built under the time frame. Wow, who does that. Ray was great and gave us good ideas on how to make our first pool the best experience. It was amazing to see a team of 10 to 15 guys swarm the back yard and get the job done quick and efficiently. Artesian made my big yard of dirt into just what I wanted.

Ray and his crew did an amazing job building the perfect pool for us. No matter how many questions we had, we got answers. No matter how many times we wanted to change something Ray made the changes we wanted.

Awesome experience to say the least. As I always say, "you get what you pay for." After being a Yuma resident for only five months, I have seen and heard some of the horror stories in regard to the other contractors in town. Artesian we found to be anything but exceptional. Sylvie (hopefully I spelled that correctly) was a key player who was extremely helpful and instrumental to the pool being finished in about 60 days that was discussed.

She shared with me a multitude of great ideas for the pool that were also affordable, such as vac line, Baja step, and a multitude of umbrella mounts. She came to the house and painted the outline of the future pool and spoke of the options available. After agreeing on the price, features, and all paperwork completed, digging began the following week.

This was surprising after hearing about my buddy's 7-month pool venture. Two days later the rebar was added, and the following days were plumbing and concrete prep. All went fast and smooth. I have a lot of experience in concrete and observing their rebar work and concrete work for the basin, it is rock solid. Which is very important, as that it is the foundation of the pool.

All the credit to Luis and his crew. Luis is a Rockstar in pool construction. Their entire staff we found to be expectational, hardworking, and friendly. After the basin was shot, the waiting game starts for the concrete (gunnite) to cure (28ish days cure time). At this point the US had closed due to COVID-19, however at the 30-day mark they were at the house pouring the deck.

The next week was deck texture then paint. About a week later the project started really taking shape with tile and fence. Once they set equipment and the final inspection was complete, the plaster was shot, and water went in and the pool has been used daily by the kids, who absolutely love it. Again, couldn't be more pleased with the work of Artesian Pool, definitely believe it is money well spent. I don't know why anyone wanting a little oasis in the back yard would

We spent three months researching pool companies and were happy to find Artesian Pools and Spas. Working with Ray Orta and his staff Trini, Sylvie, and Brandie was always a positive experience. We were able to express our vision and Ray and his team brought it to life. Everyday I look out at my backyard and say "I love my pool!" Our pool is a custom salt water pool that measures 18' x 45', with a beach entry, a bench in the deep end and includes two water falls.

The depth ranges from 3' to 7'. The finish is Pebble in Tahoe Blue, Its gorgeous! We have the pool valet which keeps the pool incredibly clean, and makes our maintenance quick and easy. We are told that we have the cleanest pool our friends have ever seen. The beach entry is a perfect water play area for our small grandchildren. There are half steps on the right side of the beach entry to enter the pool and an open ledge on the left side which is perfect for sitting on a hot day with a cool drink, and is also perfect for teaching small ones how to jump into the pool.

I think I love my pool more now than I did when it was first built in 2014. I am posting photos from when it was brand new to what it looks like today six years later. In addition to our pool, Ray also designed our patio which includes a fire pit area set back from the pool and a dining area. As with any equipment there are times when service is needed; whenever I call Ray for help he is responsive and solves every issue within an adequate time period even though I'm in Imperial.

The service from Artesian Pools is excellent. I think the key to having a positive pool building experience is to have realistic expectations and to have a quality builder who listens to you and is trustworthy. Artesian Pools met all of our expectations and were a pleasure to work with.

When you make a large investment for family time you don't just let anyone dig a hole in your backyard. Only the highest quality concrete, rebar and equipment used. Other pool builders will sacrifice quality of materials to save money but with my construction back ground I was well aware of this. Scheduled time frame increased due to my last minute changes and was handled professionally.
