The Western Pool & Spa Show, at the Long Beach Convention Center, consists of the industry's largest seminar schedule. We provide classes from basics to the most advanced in both English and Spanish. We have an expansive exhibit floor, with valuable prize giveaways every hour. Valuable prizes are given away each hour. Each entry and culminates with finalists drawn from each day vying to win a $20,000 cash prize and over $10,000 in other prizes at the end of the show.

Extremely disappointed in the response to this year's show. This is not our first trade show but was to be our first year at the @westernpoolandspa event. We were dedicated enough to show up and set up. We understand that it was unprecedented and that it was the city's call to cancel the show. However, there's been no communication from the organizers for any type of compensation.

We've made several attempts to contact and receive generic replies. The last reply we received in April was to be patient. It's now July. We realize that things such as shipping cannot be refunded and aren't expecting the world. We even went as far as to just ask for the lead retrieval money back of $200 and was met with no reply. We suggested taking the show virtual, again met with no reply.

For a show that has been around for 42 years, it's unacceptable to receive no communication and not to have a contingency plan for crisis management and communication. We anxiously look forward to a resolution. 10/1/20 - Update. Still have not received any communication. 12/4/20 - Update. They held a virtual show last month and we never received communication about it or this past year's event.

They are also showing dates for next year's show. Again, no communication with us beyond what was stated above. 2/8/22 - Update. New Vendors Beware! Still shocked that this big entity is pushing forward while pushing away prospective business. We were definitely swindled out of our investment to the show. They could have handled it with a lot more professionalism and communication.
