Rocky Mountain Pools builds swimming pools, spas and ponds with innovative water features with design flair throughout Boise and the greater Southern Idaho region. From the initial contact with Rocky Mountain Pools, you can expect friendly service and professionalism - dealing with the same person throughout the process and not any salesman. Rocky Mountain Pools is owned and operated by Ryan Stadler - a third generation pool builder. Ryan's family has been building pools in Idaho for over 50 years.
Services
We interviewed several pool companies in the Boise area and ultimately went with Ryan and Rocky Mountain Pools because we felt Ryan was the most informative and hands on contractor we spoke with. We had a wonderful experience! Ryan was onsite a lot of the time with all the excavating and digging. He kept us informed every step of the way and if we had any questions he got back to us immediately. We love our pool, and highly recommend going with Rocky Mountain. Rocky Mountain Pools installed a pool for us in the summer of 2016.
Realizing your dream pool takes imagination, clear communication and experience. Any design- whether a sleek, urban lap pool or an organic, free form creation must be carefully integrated into the site. The location, proportion, shape, materials used, decking, and landscaping need to be carefully considered.
Once the placement of the pool has been determined, it's time to choose the shape, size and style. This will establish not only the parameters of the pool within the landscape and proportionality to your property, but the character of the entire pool environment as well. Formal pools, in symmetrical shapes, with straight lines can repeat the architectural planes of a house.
Choosing the materials with which you surround your pool will have a major impact on it's look & feel. By using concrete, stone or timber you can achieve a very individual pool. Like a picture frame, the rim around the pool controls the way in which the surface of the water is perceived. Edges whether angled, curved or straight offer the opportunity to break down or build up barriers between land and water in creative ways.

Ryan and his crew completed a patio, gas fireplace, hot tub, etc for my backyard. Everything went perfect, everything was EXACTLY how I imagined it, and made my house feel like I've always wanted. The backyard is now somewhere my family and friends love to be, and is the favorite spot at the house. On top of the actual work being perfect, the crew and Ryan were extremely professional, personable, understanding of my requests (and also my lack of understanding of construction work) and made me feel like I wasn't just another job to complete.

They took what I wanted, made it realistic and also added some great insight that we decided to go with. I would 100% call them again for future work. The next house I purchase, you can bet Rocky Mountain Pools will be doing work there as well.

The truck that entered the Edwards Pathway was not a truck for Rocky Mountain Pools. However, it was for another company coming to do work on my pool. Rocky Mountain Pools is a great company and they installed my pool several years ago. They were great to work with and the finished product is amazing. My house backs up to this path and a truck that accesses the path once in a while is not a big deal. However, the amount of golf carts, motorized scooters, dirt bikes and four wheelers that come down the path. well, that is more disruptive than one truck with a purpose that is there for a short period of time. Rocky Mountain Pools is a great establishment. They had nothing to do with this.

Rocky Mountain Pools installed a pool for us in the summer of 2016. Ryan and his entire team were exceptional to work with, always friendly and professional. From our first meeting of walking around the yard deciding where to put the pool right up until the finished product, we were always treated with respect for our property and our vision of what we dreamed of for so long.

We had a lot of challenges to overcome to have the pool and the patio we wanted but Ryan and his team suggested various options that they knew would work and in the end, it turned out beautiful. I would say they went above and beyond on this job! We are so happy with the results, it was very much worth the investment! Their customer service is top notch!

It has been almost a year since the pool was completed and Ryan and Sam continue to help. One of the parts on the cover broke and they immediately replaced it even though we are 70 miles away. Whenever I have a question on the chemicals or the pool equipment I can call or text and I get an immediate response and help. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Pools to anyone considering a pool! Sincerely, Paula Riggs

Ryan Stadler and Rocky Mountain Pools did a great job in transforming my less than desirable back yard into a beautiful oasis. Ryan is both creative in his design and at all times professional in getting the job done at a fair and reasonable price. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his company for your pool and landscaping needs. You won't be disappointed. Richard Rachlin
