After getting quotes from 5 different places, Precision gave me the best price of all. They helped me designing and building my pool and they were great on every step of the process. Christina and Michael were very helpful, even thought I had to make quite a few changes so that the pool will fit perfectly in my space, avoiding the house gas pipes, they were always nice and very professional. I highly recommend Precision Pools.!

This is our second project with Precision Pools and we could not be happier. Marc is outstanding as is their construction department. We will continue to recommend them to Friends and Colleagues and we continue to be impressed with their communication and professional service. Service: Inground pool installation

I absolutely love our pool but anyone who uses this company must be aware if there are problems to address specifically with gunite crew messes of concrete spatter all over your house and garage, you are absolutely 100% on your own to clean it off. Took forEVER-- months-- to start digging and months more to complete pool. We paid for additional warranty for pool equipment but praying i don't need services on broken equipment as i have zero faith they will come do any repairs after the gunite crew fiasco. My friend did her best to clean off concrete after a YEAR of constant calls asking Precision Pools and Spas to do this to no avail.

DO NOT use this company! Signed paperwork on 9/13/2021, started dig on 10/13 and they are still not done. It was estimated to be a 12 week job ad we are in week 23. They will provide a date of service and it will not be fulfilled. I understand things happen but they would not even call to provide an update. I was always the one reaching out. Left several messages at the office, cell and text.no returned communication until several weeks later. SayingE excuses like "we don't control the contractors" or stating they spoke to my husband and they don't even have his number.

Lie after lie! Contractor jobs were less than acceptable. I was even recently told by the GM that I was, his exact words "nit picking". Breakers not installed correctly causing a delay. Contractors leaving trash all over my yard and throwing wet concrete/plaster in my yard. Now it's hardened which we all know grass will not grow in those areas. Spacers in decking were obviously crooked and told it was done like that intentionally. Coping not level. Cracked/broken tiles. Came back out to correct it and then used a different color mortar. I could go on and on but will stop here. Just don't use them. Keep moving.

Working with this company was a breeze! Make sure you request the Vaudagna brothers as your designers. Christian and William are prompt, personable and amazing with their designs. Every time I wanted to make a change, big or small, they had it back to me in a timely manner. It is like they're waiting by the computer for me to call! When I had to go in to pick tile and coping the ladies in the office were extremely helpful.

The boys even offered to be there even though they didn't have to be. And the best part- they will travel just about ANYWHERE. I am located two hours away from both offices and they didn't bat an eye! 10/10 I would use them again if I could!

Do not hire Precision Pools and Spa to do you pool. After spending 62k they asked me to pay $580 extra otherwise the crew won't finish the plaster which is the final process after 7 months of bad communication with the office. Arguing about $580 when I spent $62k with you! Wow this is how lousy they sound. I waited and waited for months not seeing any type of progress.

No apologies just "ITS IN YOUR CONTRACT". Very unorganized and unreliable. This is the worse company to do business with. They will not show up to your house unless you call them. The crew would show up any day without communicating it to you. The worse experience ever on my first built Pool. DO NOT EVEN TRY THEM. Please share among your people. Let's make them famous.

It's been 1 year since going under contract to have our pool installed. It is still not fully permitted or functioning as originally designed and unfortunately our story is VERY similar to all the other reviews. Scott was our designer, absolutely fantastic, envisioned our pool perfectly and was the most cost effective. Tracy was our original scheduler and we had started seeing some bad reviews about communication and her specifically but some of them truly seemed silly and what you would expect from someone who didn't realize their backyard would turn into a construction zone, but main concern was are you going to be able to communicate.

I don't ask for much, I just want to know when people are coming out to my house with a little notice. I was GUARANTEED that communication wouldn't be an issue, and starting off it wasn't. It was after we get past the dig that communication ceased and the excuse was "oh we schedule people as they're available and weather dependent and it's usually short notice".

Which was irritating but I got over it because all the subcontractors that got sent out were professional, did what they needed to do (or so I thought). Then we get into the issue of my pool is 99% done, they filled it, we turn it on, and my scuppers have minimal water flow, and I can't run them really at all without damaging my travertine tile nor at the same time as my bubbler, when in all reality I should be able to run anything for the actual pool at the same time. Here's where the arguing takes place, or we are going to have to pay extra to change parts out because of a faulty design, or it's possible the wrong size plumbing was installed.

To this day I still don't know. I can count on one hand the number of times a supervisor has been out on site and for a total he's been at my property for less than 3hrs. I made the request that I prefer no work to be done moving forward unless a supervisor was here. That has not happened. I have asked for an update on who my contact should be to get my questions answered, if I could speak to the owner of the company, if I could get any kind of deadline for when my pool would be completed. *crickets* Now to update for today of March 7th, they have plumbers out here re-trenching my yard (with no notice and no solution, so I have no clue why they're here). Was told they're wanting to drain my 14,000 gallon pool but I've called the office to get an update and they said oh we didn't send out the people to drain the pool because it's supposed to rain all day.so I guess now I get to deal with muddy holes until the decide to send out whoever to fix whatever it is they're working on?

All in summary, I'm too tired and pregnant to deal with this company and I highly highly recommend you read all comments and reviews before committing to this company and be prepared to take on the job of being the supervisor for your own project.

I started writing my review and realized it was way too long. So, I have summarized our experience below. Todd Lakes was our design specialist. He was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient with us as he knew it was our first pool. Design was perfect and exactly what we wanted. We asked Tracy not to schedule the dig until the gunite crew would be able to follow them promptly.

Due to the busy rush in pool builds, she said she would do what she could as we were willing to wait if necessary. Within 5 weeks, Tracy called and told us the dig would be tomorrow which was a Saturday and the gunite would follow the following Saturday. This was executed flawlessly and we were very pleased. We were told and understood that there would be several days (even weeks) between trades due to the volume of pools being built all around Houston.

Even with a lot of rainy days, our build was complete in just over three months. Perfectly acceptable considering everything. Precision used high quality Hayward equipment. We were very happy with the install. Mike, our Construction Superintendent, was very good at returning calls and keeping us informed. He came out and showed us how to use everything and even suggested we take a video to reference later which was great advice.

It's been 7 months since the completion of our pool and we are very pleased with the whole project. I highly recommend Precision to those that are patient and understand of the challenges of building a pool and want want a great product.

For the people who don't feel like reading this whole review I just got one message for you: all the bad reviews are true. Precision Pools' communication is the absolute worst and you can't trust them at all. For the ones interested in our experience, I honestly barely know where to begin. We are very fair people and I believe this is the first bad review I'm ever writing.

During our sales process, we had 1 main point of contact. Everything went well and after some talks, we agreed on moving forward with, signed a contract, and paid a deposit. After that, excuse my language, shit hit the fan. Our lot is located in a flood zone, which makes construction a little trickier. We knew this from the beginning, but precision pools was not able to guide us through this process properly while claiming they would.

Long story short it meant we needed some additional engineering which would cost some extra money. We've been well aware of that since the beginning of the process, but all of a sudden we just received quotes for all sorts of things while precision pools was not even able to explain what they were exactly for when asked. Who is going to pay extra money if no one can tell you what exactly it is for?! Certainly, I am not.

We guessed what the quotes were for and asked them multiple times. We got answers like 'you might be right'. Like what does that even mean?! YOU are the professionals and YOU should be able to tell us what it is. It should not be us guessing what they are for. Obviously, we started to lose all trust in them and became very frustrated. We kept looking for answers but didn't get any.

They became much less responsive after we paid the deposit (which you can see in other reviews as well). On one of the phone calls where we tried to understand what was going on, they even had the audacity to say that THEY needed to be patient with us because we are foreigners and we probably just didn't understand those specific words. This is not just rude, this is just racist.

I was too shocked to say anything on the phone but have honestly never been treated this way. They will continuously blame you if you don't understand something or something in the process is not going as it should. After that in combination with moving plans, we decided to pull out. From the start, precision pools got two referrals from us who up until this day are still moving forward with the project.

We were promised a referral fee for that but since we didn't move forward with it anymore, we believed it was more than fair to get our deposit back. To arrange this we all of a sudden had to speak with Michael, which we didn't even know the existence of until then. When calling, it was obvious they didn't want to put us through to speak with him.

After trying for weeks, my husband was finally able to speak with him and agreed that we wouldn't get our deposit back, but we would get our referral fee when our two referrals would start the digging process. Both of the houses started this process and when we checked on our check for this referral fee, Michael AGAIN is saying there isn't a check for us without explanation.

He pretends like that phone call never happened! We were totally ok with leaving everything as it was since we made an agreement, but the way they handle things is beyond a decent person's understanding. They also keep blaming us for miscommunications with one of our referrals, while they just can't see what they are really doing wrong. It's extremely unprofessional.

If you read all other reviews, what I'm talking about is not just a one-time thing. I honestly incredibly regret that we put other people in contact with this company because I would never ever recommend them to anyone after the experience we've (and our neighbors) had with them. I'm already waiting on a response on this review with them blaming us for all sorts of things. Or 0 response, one or the other as they can't really seem to do anything else.

I worked with Scott Shaw he was assisting one of our homeowners and myself with making sure all their pool details were submitted correctly. Thank you Scott for taking the time to make sure all was done properly, I wish all pool companies were as detailed and easy to work with as you were - thank you! : Service: Summerization

The pool is fine. The subcontractors used did all the work and did a nice job. Precision Pools and Spas, however are lacking in their communication skills and they don't do what they say they will do. They left open trenches following electrical work. The superintndent promised to take care of it. Never done so we did it ourselves. The last time we saw him was Apr. 10th when he added chemicals and started the pump.

He scheduled to come back the next Saturday (Apr. 17th) to give us "Pool School" but he never showed up and did not answer our messages regarding when he would be here. We have heard nothing since. There are lots of pool companies and they all use the same subcontractors, WE can not recommend this company. Update Oct. 7, 2010: No contact since April. Not even a call to see how the pool was doing. Good riddance!

I am highly disappointed in publicly writing this review. The design and sales person was good. Marc is pleasant to work with. But after you sign a contract with them. Good luck! They didn't even know that the dig team came. Or that the plumber came. The plumber didn't know the changes in design that were made weeks in advance of them coming. Unless you stay on top of them at ALL TIMES and perhaps hire your own design expert to fill in the holes in knowledge then you lose!

They have major communication issues internally in my (Thankfully) very limited experience with them this past year. With respect to their unresponsiveness, Tracy responds to you in about 30% of the time. It takes several days to get a response. Excuses like understaffing, a position change, or the Houston weather will likely be thrown at you when you push them.

The actual pool looks different that design rendered. Visible draining pipes were left, and I was told that I have to find my own landscaping crew to hide it! Broken trees and trash left. Some belongings destroyed. I had to hire my own crew to clean up and cover their shortcomings. The GM manager Michael is equally dismissive. Money is all they care about.

This review was posted 2 months ago, and I was asked to take it down so that they can address my concerns, and I obliged, but after 2 months, NOTHING has happened because "they are busy"! The GM did not even have the courtesy of calling once to discuss anything. Very unprofessional and disappointing. You would expect a better service for the $$$ you pay. I would not personally recommend them.

HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION FROM THE START! The positives: They made an error after the pool design and the owner made it right. Their contractors overall are really good. Overall we are happy with our pool. The negatives: HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION! Have to leave multiple messages in order to get someone to call you back. They don't let you know what work is being done or when someone will be there.

We have a hot tub with our pool and one of the jets is barely pushing any water. It took 4 months for them to send someone out to check the issue. Luckily, my neighbor was home and pointed out the issue to them, as the person they sent out was leaving and told the neighbor everything was working. Then the company sent the superintendent of the project out, which of course he was a day late from when he was supposed to be there, and no one ever called, just a no show.

The issue with the hot tub is still not fixed so I guess our 6 jet hot tub is now a 5 jet. The lights are now flickering and no one will call me back to fix this issue. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION and they are honoring their warranty, court is next.

We decided to build our pool with Precision after getting several different estimates from other companies. Scott Rutherford was honest and had great ideas and understood what we wanted. Christina was amazing and very patient with us as we selected our tiles. Highly recommend! Services: Design, Construction

They took almost three months longer than agreed to finish pool. During the whole process communication was poor or none existent. Had to be asking for updates and following up with them multiple times. Extremely messy and unprofessional. Guys working would eat leave trash all over back yard, some of them also were drinking on the job. My wife and kids had to clean up after them several times.

Owner won't take ownership of his crew and says that his team won't ever do that, even after we showed his construction manager. After pool was done, we have submitted several items to be repaired and they either deny it or take weeks for them to fix. Warranty department says I'll contact you today, and seven days later I'm having to call them because they never call. Don't fall into the trap of any of their landscaping, or any other services they offer, not dependable or reliable. If I could go back I would have definitely gone with someone else.

Precision Pools & Spas designed and built our pool. We had an outstanding service and communication from the very beginning (design) through the end. Two years later they continue to attend with minor repairs. Norma and the rest of the team are always there to answer any questions and attend our pool's needs. I have and will continue to recommend Precision Pools & Spas.

***EDITED AND UPDATED*** Well, where to start? Maybe I should start off by saying this is the second pool installed by Precision for our family and we have had two completely different experiences. The first pool held true to the timeline despite Hurricane Harvey. Now, this second pool is far from even remotely being acceptable from a customer service perspective, timeline, and a pure communication perspective.

We are very understanding people but expect communication and when we asked Precision for some sort of update and better communication, nothing truly happened and we felt like we were just told lies and more lies to placate and pacify us. The COVID situation has completely changed our world, this we understand, but communication and customer service do not stop.

We started this process in June of 2020 and the pool was completed in March 2021. We had set back after setback from the start and what was eve more interesting is that our neighbors were getting pools dug and completed in 2-3 months where ours took 10 months. Again, COVID and weather have played a huge role in this epic debacle. Just for reference, we stared at the huge hole from October 2020 until February 2021, pictures attached. *** updated April 2021*** The pool is now completed, more photos attached (pictures are right after filling and upon initial pump start). Communication, communication, communication, if there is any place for improvement, this is it! From the scheduler, there are little to no updates unless prompted and with a project this long, any bit of information is better than being left in the dark.

Horrible communication, the beginning work with Scott was pretty smooth, ever since we have had to hound them over and over again, I would not recommend them, very disappointing. Update 12-12-20 The dig was nine weeks ago, we are more than 50 percent done, I am being optimistic that by mid January we may be done, they come and work once or twice a week on a good week, have not had many of those.

Communication has been a bit better, I was told once gunite was done that the rest of the contractors were ready to go. I guess I should be thankful we are slowly moving along

After researching a handful of pool companies, we decided to select Precision Pools. We were impressed with the sales process, cost and pool design. As it pertains to the construction process, we have not been disappointed. The scheduling team, led by Tracy, was excellent and provided frequent updates; Norma, back-office, is diligent and professional; the construction supervisor, David, is always accommodating. My wife and I are very happy with the final product.

If you value being communicated with about a very pricey purchase than do NOT use this company. Before calling them I had read the reviews about their bad communications but saw more positive reviews than bad so I had them give me a quote along with a few others. My salesman, Scott Shaw, was fantastic and made me feel comfortable that those few bad reviews about communications were probably outliers. Scott was knowledgeable, answered emails, text, phone calls, and returned voicemails promptly.

The moment we signed the contract we got handed off to Tracy and that's where all the frustrations started. Communications have been pretty nonexistent since that time. When I was trying to make sure all the financing amounts were correct I sent her an email about the pricing and it took her 8 days to reply. I run a small business myself and I don't know how any company thinks it's okay to ignore your customers for that long of a time.

That was the first bad sign but not the last struggle with Precision. After all of the permits were in hand and the financing had been cleared I could not get any information out of Tracy about when the dig would start. After weeks of frustration with their lack of communication, one of their vendors had texted me about the project start. I had mistakenly saved their name as Precision so I assumed it was one of their employees.

I had expressed my frustrations with the severe lack of communication and did not realize he was not even one of their employees. He was just someone they regularly do business with. At that point Precision finally called me and told me that one of their machines was broken and that they could not find the same machine to rent. Apparently this had been a problem from the beginning but was never told to me.

My phone calls and emails had simply been ignored rather than telling me this information. It is not cheap to build a pool and if the company you chose to give tens of thousands of dollars to simply starts ignoring you once you sign the contract it's not a pleasant feeling. If you value customer service you need to look elsewhere. As for the build quality of the pool itself.

I couldn't tell you because I'm still waiting for the dig to start and to be honest, I am on the brink of canceling the project and looking for a different company. AVOID this company if you value your sanity.

Let's start with the stress buying a pool has on you. a lot. The worry about money, quality and the most important.the company you are dealing with. All of those worries go away the minute you meet Leslie - not only does she know pools in and out but she feeds off of knowing exactly what and want and the things you need that maybe you didn't even know. Leslie has been the highlight of this pool experience (given we tried 2 other companies prior).

If it weren't for Leslie, we would have been lost in the pool 'world'. After the years of looking for the right company - she made it know we were right at home. If any one is ever looking for a looking that is high end, solid quality, knowing it's done right - please reach out to Leslie because you will not regret it!

Dug my pool way longer than having a scheduled plumbing, rebar or gunite day. It's been 5 weeks since they dug my backyard. I heard from another friend that they dug this other customer's pool FIVE MONTHS AGO! No dates for them either. DON'T LET THEM DIG UNTIL U HAVE A GUNTITE DATE! Update 12/2/2020 Gunite was done 2 months ago so that's no longer the blame for the delay, plumber came out and dug trenches in my yard and now keeps making excuses not to return so I can get my yard back.

In the meantime my dogs are being boarded cause they can't access the backyard which is costing me money daily. Apparently they only have 1 plumber, so much for a 35 day build There were weeks of nice and dry days prior to this one so that's no longer an excuse. I ended up having to physically dig out and reroute my own sewer pipe

From start to finish we enjoyed our entire experience building our dream pool with Precision Pools. Scott Shaw was our designer and he was the perfect fit for us. Right off the bat we discussed our budget and he was so great working with us to keep us on budget for this project. He never oversold items and really got us to think about what was most important to us.

He really listened to what we wanted and came up with great solutions to make everything work exactly as we had it pictured in our heads. He was so knowledgeable in regards to pool building and calmed our nerves throughout the entire process. After the pool was finished we had a few minor items that fell under the warrantee and Norma was so quick to address the issue and get them resolved. We highly recommend them to build your dream pool!

There were so many options for us to pick a company to come and build our pool. We chose Precision Pools & Spas and don't regret it a bit. The process was very an awesome experience for us from excavation to pool school. My family is very excited for our cool hangout and would like to thank the team that helped us. From our salesman, scheduler, contractor teams, they were all very helpful. We are very happy with our choice in Precision Pools! Thank you!

When needing a pool built or remodeled look no further. 2010 Precision built me an amazing pool. I recently moved to a new home and had the existing pool renovated. From the start to finish Precision delivered. Their customer service, communication, and finished product is 5 star. Michael Vaudagna who's position is General Manager runs a top notch crew! Thank you for keeping my family happy!

I'll start by stating that I love my pool so far. Precision still has to hook up the heat for my spa (not their delay from my understanding, it's the permit department). The process of the build was my least favorite, although they built the pool in a little over a month. Some things that bothered me were that the supervisor was only on the project a few times and it was just for a quick pop in.

Another thing that was dreadful was that some of the subs were very unprofessional (asked me for food, loud music, used our neighbors water and to use my bathroom-he used the #2 lol), not much can be done there. Although I did call Precision Pools and let them know what had happened ( it wasn't there fault directly) but at least they could take into consideration just in case they decided to use them for a future project.

Mind you, most subs were only at my home a day or so. Overall the toughest part was seeing my yard tore up but the outcome was worth it now that my yard is complete and the pool is done. The pool is definitely serving it's purpose, we're creating a lot of fun memories. Thanks again Precision Pools! & a special thanks to Tracy and the receptionist for taking all my calls.

just now
We were so excited to put in our pool two years ago. Precision pools seemed like a good fit. The salesman talked me out of a few things but what he was saying made sense and he was in the business so I trusted his opinion. We wanted a nice water slide, were talked out of that, okay... Kids love the one at our friends house and still wish we did that.

We wanted a hot tub and pool and were told "it's Texas you will never use it get the cocktail table instead" both friends who have put in pools did the hot tubs and they are in them every day after work and we have a table that the pool vacuum gets stuck on 100% of the time and no one uses. Regrets but not terrible. What is terrible is that they used an unknown contractor do do our patio.

It was never planned out. He showed up, asked me to show him where I thought I wanted it and was starting in a half hour so I needed to hurry. Never made appointment, didn't get to work with my hubby. The design time we were promised didn't happen. Then the poured and stamped at night by cell phone light. The pattern wasn't what we agreed on, and there were sharp ridges everywhere that we had to beg to have shaved down.

They sealed in the rain and the sealant and color which was painted on bubbled off and peeled leaving white haze where it stayed and blotchy color. We had to beg to have something done. They withheld the payment to the patio guy and he threatened us. Angrily redid it. It looked okay at the time and we were told he wouldn't leave until we signed off.

We did but when it dried it looked even worse. I don't think they got all of the original sealant done. We begged precision to help fix it and they ignored every email. We called and they wouldn't return calls. My husband finally threatened bbb report and he was allowed to speak to the owner who assured us the patio would be redone. It never happened.

A guy showed up without appointment when we were going out... To patch it with paint. We said no that wasn't what was supposed to happen and called the owner. He assured us he would speak to the guys boss and while we were gone the whole thing would be stripped and fix. In a haste remove stuff from patio and to leave the patio was gouged by the grill.

The guy said he would fix it. We came back home and two spots were spot painted nothing else. We contacted the owner and no replies. The pool started to crack and we called more. After begging they sent a guy out who told us it wouldn't be covered if it never fixing because we were using too much chemicals and it was damaged from that. We told him that pool school consisted of Robert telling us to test weekly at Leslie's and do what they say and we did exactly that.

He said it was our problem. We asked about the patio, he took a photo of the grill gouge, I asked why he was taking a picture of the one spot that was accidental damage and not the cosmetic issue of the terrible job done by their contractor and he laughed. They haven't replied to us since nor did the owner keep his word to fix the patio. Now the light has gone bad and the pump broke and I'm sad and fed up instead of happy and enjoying our investment.

This pool was our dream... It's just sad. Don't use Precision they do not care after they have been paid.

Ps. They had us deal with pool leaves on wet plaster by using a hand pushed vacuum on wheels. Don't do this if Robert suggests it, it will make your plaster all wavy and it looks bad later. If leaves will be a problem ask them to net it or something. They really should know how to deal with it. Don't use this company

After researching pool companies for 3 years I seen good and bad on all pool company reviews. I decided to us Precision because of the pool designer Sutton, her and I really clicked and she knew exactly what I had in mind and definitely made it come to life! Im not gonna go into details because I don't have time but I can stay their subcontractors are horrible.

They don't care about the details and will tear up your property. As for as precision themselves communication sucks. Our pool superintendent came out once, the first day for 5 minutes. He never knew what was going on with the project so I would just go over his head and call or text the Construction Mgr and then she would take 2 or 3 days to respond. Stay away! Trust me! You get what you pay for! I must add. After everything we been through I LOVE MY POOL!

Working with Precision Pools & Spas for our very first swimming pool build was FANTASTIC! We spoke to at least 6 other builders including PP&S before making our final decision. One of the main reasons we worked with them was because of Todd Lakes "The Pool Guy". Our fear was once we signed the contract we are on our own. Todd was with us the entire project and was very responsive.

We signed our contract 3 days before Christmas right before he went on vacation and guess what - he was responding to us during vacation too! We appreciated his patience and involvement in our project and frankly made us feel as comfortable as you can feel in the midst of such a huge project/investment in our family. The entire staff was hands on with our pool project.

The GM Michael Vadagna made a few visits to our site often to make sure everyone was doing a good job. Tracy - schedules everything and was also amazing to work with, she's the one who makes sure the crews showed up. Norma helped us at the design center and was also a pleasure to work with. Joe - our construction manager provided guidance on how to operate our pool and made sure things were fixed when they needed it towards the end of our project.

Finally - from the dig crew all the way to plumbing - thank you for being respectful of our home and our property. They never left a mess (besides normal construction mess) like food and garbage everywhere. Our pool was done in 7 weeks and would have been done in 5 weeks if it didn't rain 2 weeks in a row. We already started our pool parties and it's not even summer yet! :-) Thank you for a great experience and building us a beautiful pool to enjoy with our family and friend for years to come! If you are thinking of building a pool, please reach out to Todd Lakes "The Pool Guy" at PP&S!

We used Precision for our pool build the summer of 2017. We are located south of Tomball. From excavation day to fill day --- total of 54 days. Overall was a pleasant process (there are bumps in the road with any construction) and I have referred PP&S to friends who are looking to build. Scott Shaw (designer) was very easy to work with during the design phase and helped work out a layout that fit our budget. Tracy, Miriam, and Michael (GM) guided us through the build process and pool setup. Michael stopped by several times to review construction stages.

My family used Precision Pools & Spas and we couldn't be happier with the quality and customer service we received. We can't wait to have pool parties all summer with the entire family. Our pool was finished on time with very few issues along the way.

Poor quality work for a large amount of money. The best part was when we discovered they cut our cable line, so now we have to pay to get it fixed. This is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a bad review for any business, but I feel it's necessary, considering the cost of having a pool built. Very careless work here.

BUYER BE AWARE! This company will not honor their warranty or backup their work. We have been trying to get our SPA leak fixed for about 4 months already and Precision Pools and SPAs has failed to send anyone to fix it. Our emails are ignored, or we are given an excuse every week on why our SPA is not fixed. Don't bother calling the sales person Scott, because he will not do anything about it either. Michael the "General Manager" was extremely rude, promissed the work would be done and 4 months later and nothing has been done.

I have now hired an attorney and had to look for another company to come and fix the SPA and replace my cracked stone. Unless you want the worst pool company in town with the worst service, I would go somewhere else. If you would like details of my horrible experience please feel free to send me a private message.

I could not recommend this company to anyone. We are in month 5 of waiting for our pool to be done. Communication has been completely abysmal. The plan the decking people got was not the most recent one, so they pulled out landscaping that was supposed to stay. The company's response is to replace the plants, which they have now just done. When they were laying the flagstone coping around the pool (when the coping guys surprised us one Saturday morning), I liked it 'natural', not tiled.

When I spoke with the coping guys and then the GM, the GM told me I shouldn't leave it like that because if I ever wanted to replace the coping it would be difficult to match the pieces. That wasn't a good enough reason, so I told him I wasn't worried about it and to leave the coping as it was. The coping guys left. I spoke with the project manager Monday who told me I'd have to sign a waiver and that the coping would pop off if left the way I liked it.

Upon hearing that, I immediately decided to do it the way they suggested. I then got charged a fee for the coping guys to have to come back out. I don't feel that your average layperson would know enough to make a proper decision about how coping should be and seeing as how the GM couldn't tell me that the flagstone would pop off before the coping guys left, I feel being charged for them to come out again is incredibly unfair.

We have had two project coordinators and two project managers, without explanation - we're just being juggled around with almost no communication. The decking is still wrong; they installed a 5 foot vertical drain and connected it to a 10+' horizontal drain that connects to another vertical drain that would empty into the grass, if the drain wasn't blocked, which it is.

They have yet to fix this. The other glaring problem with this scenario is that the more than 10 feet of horizontal drain is not sloped toward the emptying drain spout, so there is no way for the water to move to empty unless there is a lot of it. I foresee a lot of standing water (which will eventually mold) in my drain channels in the deck. The decking has also already chipped off, which is still not fixed.

They will not plaster the pool until I give them the last little bit of money I owe them, and I refuse to do that until they address these problems. They don't view these issues as 'necessary' to finish the pool, so are contracting their guys to other jobs and leaving mine to "get to when they can". Apparently this is how warranty work happens with this company. So I will continue to wait and harass them.
