Pool Man

Over a year, and three emails, still no acknowledgment that fireplace surround sent will not cover the gap between the drywall and fireplace. The emails contained pictures showing the surround does not cover gap. When fireplace was originally ordered and had come in, there was an issue of getting it installed in time for construction crew even though I was told we were on the schedule fir weeks. They did get it installed on time as they had previously said, and it worked with our construction schedule.

Two years ago when our old hot tub was failing we purchased a refitted used tub from Poolman. We also had it Retro fitted with an Ace Salt Water Sanitizing System. We've owned hot tubs for 25 years and never been happier. Poolman's staff were awesome and the salt system is the best thing we've ever done. It works flawlessly. It a good thing it has a 30 day check light or I'd forget to test the water is so clear and smells clean. I recommend Poolman and the Salt Sanitation System to everyone who asks about our hot tub.

Very unprofessional. Pool was put in wrong, also had wrinkles in our pool liner in first year and they refused to fix it. Wouldnt do business with them ever again. Went to Swimrite in Eau Claire. Great group of people.

DO NOT recommend. As soon as they have your money, you will never hear from them. It was even difficult getting a call back, after leaving messages or e mails. I did not receive all the services that I had requested and the people installing the equipment were rude!. It was a poor experience. Go elsewhere.

We chose this company for our fireplace cleaning after calling around for quotes to multiple businesses. Poolman seemed much cheaper. Until we got the bill that is. It was double the amount quoted because they didn't tell us the quote didn't include the technician's time fee or the mileage (even though we live in town) or tax. I was also quite upset that they don't schedule appointment times.

We were told they would call the day before to give us a timeframe but that never happened either. So they just showed up whenever. Very inconvenient. The job was seemingly well done but I will hesitate to use them again next time.

We have owned a pool now for three years. We have used Poolman from day one and will never go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and will explain things so it is easy to understand. They will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and what is best for your pool's needs. Highly recommend!

Terrible customer service, the woman on the phone said she'd give me a great deal on a set of filters for my hot springs spa. I was able to purchase them for nearly half their cost at a competitors store an hour away. When I asked about price matching she told me I should get them elsewhere, which I gladly will do from now on! Don't get scammed here, they clearly don't give a hoot about their customers.

When we opened our pool this spring, we had major issues with clarity and algae. Mark was able to hear our description & suggest products that were incredibly efficient and reasonably priced. We were ready to spend any amount of money to clear up and our pool, but it was nice to be able to fix our situation with minimal products because we followed Mark's advice.

Absolutely awful customer service. Bought two fireplaces from them and was told a price on installation. Also paid $2000 down for the fireplaces. When I went into talk about installation the gentleman at the desk told me a price that was double what we were quoted. When I questioned him about this he was very rude and short with me. He told me I needed to pay the rest of the money even though the fireplaces weren't even delivered or installed yet.

My husband told him that they could keep their fireplaces and give us back our money. He quickly changed his tune about the price of installation. When the day came for the fireplace is to be installed which was over a month ago they were missing parts. Here my fireplace is sit still not fully installed and we need to move into the house. Another instance I had called in the pool man to question about the size of the fireplaces I purchased so I could figure out rough openings and fireplace surround.

The woman that answered the phone told me to look it up she was too busy to help me. Needless to say I will never purchase another thing from this company again, the unfortunate thing for them is they've also lost the business of a huge general contractor.
