Too often we take water for granted. When you rely on catchment you begin to understand that your water needs to be nurtured almost like your garden. Care for it and it will thrive. Neglect it and it will go sour. It's too important to ignore. Do you really want a rusting steel tank in your yard that uses mosquito netting for a cover and will need a new liner in a few years? Just purchased a home that needed a new tank. I heard about Pacific Gunite through word of mouth and called Peter. Came out next day and walked us through the process. We ended up getting a 13,300 gallon tank. Based on the estimates of all tank types, this turned out to be our best option. Although Peter is great, the guys (Eddie, his brother Willie, and Aaron) were the real magic.
They came completely self contained with generators, water, and anything else needed. Watching them work and being educated about the process along the way was fun. Within a week, we had a big, beautiful tank. More than that, we had been informed to anything we needed to know about water catchment and service. These guys ARE fantastic! A positive experience through the entire process. Highly recommended.

Water tanks come in many materials and gunite is one of the best because it is so durable and affects the water in a positive way by changing its pH to be more neutral and less acidic. That said, you can get gunite tanks that are preformed, if you need a small size. However, we had Pacific Gunite install a 10,000 gallon custom tank on our lot to replace a beautiful old redwood tank that had provided service for more than 30 years. Pacific Gunite has a team of very qualified individuals, including the owner, Peter Epperson, who bring more than 25 years of experience building tanks of all sizes.
In a retrofit like ours, there are always some unknowns, but Pacific Gunite was very easy to work with, very thorough, performed consistently, with excellent workmanship. We now have a tank and plumbing system that works beautifully for our location. Depending on your needs and the company's workload, it may take a while to get started but this company is well worth the wait and we are very happy with our results.
