They're the best pool supply shop in Plano in my opinion. I've been shopping here for almost 10 years after over-paying at the national chain stores prior to discovering 1 Stop. Better prices and better selection. My only critique also applies at every other pool supply store for some reason - they aren't setup to handle checkout when busy and someone has a question and holds up the line.

Would be nice to move point of sale away from the parts counter. Or get some mobile point of sale capability so staff can handle credit transactions from anywhere in the store.

Been shopping for a new pool vacuum and found this place online. Some of the original pictures that I saw aren't accurate. Showed rows of different kind. Well even though the selection wasn't as great they still do seem to have more than most. The employee wasn't to knowledgeable on the products but that's ok as a customer doesn't hurt to do some of your own research was the only reason 4 stars.

Would probably get more questions answered anyway doing more research online. Would recommend coming by this place they seem to have plenty to choose from no matter what you're looking for

These people know what they are talking about and have bountiful parts to get you fixed and running. They'll check your water chemistry while you wait. They did order a bunch of odd ball diving board parts i needed that no other pool company wanted to order.

One Stop is great for pool supplies. It is near our house, convenient and reasonable prices. I do NOT recommend them for pool repair. We had them resurface our pool a few years ago and recently experienced some pool damage from the cold weather. Trying to get them to respond to how to repair is next to impossible. Three attempts to contact them have been ignored.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & RUDE. For years used to be my only pool store because of lower costs and friendly service. But the last year or so service has been hit or miss. I mentioned it to owner, he acknowledged it, but kinda shrugged it off. Well, the last several months, service times was just straight out neglectful or rude. Yesterday was the last time for me. From now on I'll go elsewhere, even if costs more.

Amazing place! I live in the country and had a problem with high mineral content from well water for my spa. The water was yellow, despite linking 3 filters in line to fill it. Metal Gone didn't work. Ashley listened attentively to my problem and recommended GLB Sequa-Sol, a sequestering agent to remove the metals. It worked - My water is crystal clear! Thanks!

Found this store after Leslie's did not have the parts I was needing to replace a pool pump motor. This store had all of the parts and the counter guys were super helpful regarding the installation of the pump motor. I will now drive past 3 Leslie's stores to come to 1 Stop Pool Store!

I was pointed here about 6 years ago by another pool store who couldn't get my part. I have been a fan ever since. I tell everyone who owns a pool to come here. The guys (and gals) who work here are very supportive and super knowledgeable. They save me money every time I go in. I've purchased a new DE filter there, but they saved me $200 in instillation by encouraging me to install it myself and showing me how.

I purchase a variable pump from them, cheaper than the competition (though I paid someone to install, as I do t mess with electrical work). Even when I'm it buying from them, they give really good advice. After the last freeze they helped me buy a pump case off eBay (they are on back order). I just left After picking up a small part, and they were eager to help and offer support.

You can't go wrong here. They don't up-sell, if anything they down-sell always saving you money. They are informative and eager to help, without being condescending (which I've experienced in some other stores). I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about these folks.

This is a local pool store. I always go here first to see if they have the part I am needing for my pool. They are typically less expensive as compared to the national pool store chains. The employees at the store are always knowledgeable about various pool repairs. You can get good knowledge from them about the problems you are having with your pool.

I started using these folks when I bought a house with my first pool in 2012. At the time, they were happy to talk to me for as long as necessary in the store to help me learn how my pool pump and filter worked, and how to keep the chemistry right. The other guys (whose name rhymes with Leslie's) just suggested I pay $150 to have someone come out to my house to provide the same information.

The prices were also quite a bit better than the other guys. Today I made the trip (and passed about 3 of the other guys' stores on the way) to get a part replaced for my pool cleaner. I thought needed to replace the whole assembly ($80 at 1 Stop), but a young guy at the counter gave me the option of just replacing the collar ($13). He also checked the part to make sure that the mechanism inside was still working. Based on previous experiences, I'm pretty confident the other guys would have just sold me the whole assembly for $100 and sent me on my way. 1 Stop Pool Store does things the right way and I appreciate it. Definitely worth passing a bunch of other pool stores on the way to buy from them.

If you are a pool owner you need to shop here for all your pool equipment. Where Leslie's is up the street & we purchase chlorine, chemicals & day to day items.we go to One Stop Pool & Spa Store for the big ticket items. We have had a pool for 10 years now & I can truly say we are still in the Honeymoon stage. Worth the drive!

Good place to help you with your problems. Reasonable on price and if not you can ask them for a discount and sometimes they can help with that too.

I have an issue for my older pool and system about every 3-4 months. I have become a Youtube fixer and order what I can on line. BUT when I need something specific, have my stuff torn apart and find something worn mid repair. I use these guys. I call and make sure they have my part (they do 99% of the time) and then ask for whomever I spoke with so I don't have to re-explain my needs.

Some of the guys really know their pools. I ask for Brandon when he's available. I have seen some of the clerks struggle helping others in line. Their prices are better than the two pool places just blocks from my home.

Been a customer for many years. Have been very disappointed by their response to Covid 19. None of the employees wear masks or are wiping down anything. However, all or almost all the customers have on masks. Please show a little more love and respect to your patrons. Just saying.

The staff were really knowledgeable, kinda sucks they were also assholes and acted like I was stupid. I've never had a pool and just bought a house with one, not something I'm super excited about, and they basically made me feel like an idiot for not knowing the gallon size and brand of pool. I actually walked up in them having a conversation about another customer who was asking too many questions and trying to be an "expert" I found out very quickly that that's just how they are, I said "yeah I was trying to read stuff online but it's confusing" and he said "oh online huh?

You know everything now you don't even need me." I feel like that was residual from dealing with the customer they were talking about and shouldn't have been directed toward me. Plus side, they really do know a lot. He was just a dick about it.

They replastered our pool. Would work a couple of days then not show up for a couple days even though the weather was sunny and clear. I'm assuming they were working multiple jobs. Little communication (if any) on when work was going to started/done or where they were on the process. They'd show up on days we weren't home with no warning then call us when we didn't answer the door to let them in.

We ended up leaving an opener in the mailbox which worked, but wasn't ideal. Most their laborers did not speak English so they couldn't share with us anything about the process. The sales person responded quickly to our questions but only reached out when the check was due. Water cleared up after about 2 weeks to where we could see the finish was very blotchy. Called and said it was normal. One year later (now), pool is still blotchy and we are looking for the pool to be redone by a different company.

On October 14, 2019, I took my Polaris 360 Pool Vacuum to One Stop Pool & Spa Store and spoke with Brandon for repair of a defective wheel bearing, worn and stretched drive belt replacement, and routine maintenance. On October 15, 2019, I received a call from Brandon that the unit needed replacement of five wheel bearings at $49.99, a feeder pipe at $26.99, and three tires for $32.97 for total of $123.98 with tax.

The estimate did not include the drive belt replacement as I had requested but being a long time customer I trusted their judgement and recommendations and assumed that the technician found the drive belts to be in good condition and did not need to be replaced. I approved the repairs by phone and picked up the unit and paid the invoice on October 16, 2019.

On October 17, 2019, I noted the front wheel was not turning as the drive belt had slipped off the pulley and there was a missing screw on the belt adjustment mechanism. I returned the unit to One Stop Pool & Spa Store the same day and reported the problem to a sales clerk who delivered the unit to the repair technician for repair while I waited. On October 20, 2019, I noticed the front wheel of the unit was again not turning but the this time the belt was missing from the unit.

I found the broken belt in the debris bag with missing belt teeth. Upon further inspection I noted the belt had not been installed properly per the manufacturer repair manual when reassembled in the course of the aforementioned repairs which led to its failure. Per the Polaris repair manual "The small belt should be on the inside of the transfer pulley and the large belt on the outside with the belt divider separating them." See attachments.

I returned the unit the same day for a second time to One Stop Pool & Spa Store and spoke directly to the technician and requested that the belt be replaced at no charge since it was his fault that the belt had been damaged and failed. He refused to make the repair without charge so I asked to speak to the manager. Brandon, who I had originally delivered the unit to for repair and who I assumed was the manager I had requested, came to the service desk and also refused to repair the unit unless I paid for the replacement of the belt that due to the technician's poor workmanship had caused it to fail.

After a heated discussion I left the store and ordered a new drive belt set online and made the repairs myself where I discovered other damage and faulty repairs made by the One Stop Pool and Spa Store technician that I was able to correct. I have been a regular customer of One Stop Pool & Spa Store for over seventeen years for parts, supplies and service for my pool and until this incident they had always provided quality products and services.

At the time of my heated encounter with Brandon I asked to speak to the owner at which time he informed me he was the owner. However, public records indicate the business is owned by John who Brandon then told me is his father who retired from the business. Until recently I had never seen or met Brandon but his recent employment as the manager appears to be the cause of the precipitous decline in the service and quality previously provided by One Stop Pool & Spa Store. Therefore, I suggest disregarding previously posted customer reviews of One Stop Pool and Spa Store as they do not reflect the current poor management practices of the business. Further I will never do business with and do not recommend anyone doing business with One Stop Pool & Spa Store.

I’ve been using this store for all our pool needs. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. It’s not uncommon to get a quick repair done on the spot for the price of the part only. The prices are very reasonable. If they can’t help you they’ll tell you who can.

One Stop is an extra two or so miles for me. But their service, attentive answers to questions, and pretty frank perspective make that extra distance worth it. I can't see me shopping anywhere else for supplies, equipment or getting the water checked. And this is the thing they won't probably like me mentioning. but I've walked out with extra stuff and come back "later". Later is not within the timeframe the "L" store mandates - is that 14 days? Well, at One Stop it's never been a problem.

One of the best pool supply and renovation companies in DFW! I gave up on my pool maintenance guy and took on the responsibility myself. After going to several pool companies and being overcharged (or charged for things I didn't need) and being treated as if I were an annoying customer by other companies, I finally found 1Stop Pool! 1Stop is always very helpful, cost conscious and willing to teach me the ins and outs of pool maintenance.

As my pool consultants, I've saved thousands of dollars since taking on my own pool maintenance responsibilities. BTW, I pass 3-4 other pool companies as I drive across Plano to their store. When it came time to replace my border tile due to it falling off from a poor installation 10 years ago, I didn't look elsewhere than 1Stop as I knew I'd be treated fairly. Dealing with Samantha in the Renovation department has been a total pleasure.

She was very patient with our extensive color selection process and offered great advice to help finalize our decisions. Once work began, she followed through on a daily basis. The craftsmen cleaned up each day and performed beautiful work! Equally important was the great follow-through once the work was done to correct a few minor punch list items.

They returned within a couple days and all work is now 100% complete. Sometimes it can be a nightmare to get a contractor to finish the last minor things on a project, but not with 1Stop. Our pool looks brand new again with a much needed face lift. Again, I can't recommend 1Stop Pool highly enough - they're fantastic!

After several estimates with multiple pool companies, we opted for One Stop Pool. At first everything seemed to go as planned Contract signed, ordered specialty tile, once tile came in, they would schedule us. I'll try to keep this as brief as possible. After a month of waiting for the 'specialty tile', and multiple attempts to contact Samantha (our Sales gal) where we just received the run around about the delay in tile delivery. Finally, I called down to the tile distributor myself and for some reason the tile was delayed in being ordered for over 2 weeks.

Now I don't blame Sam for the delay, I DO blame her for the lack of follow up. How can I get this information and she could not? She stated 'Wow, you got more information than I did'. Yes Samantha, that's what follow up sounds like. Tile finally arrives and then it's delay after delay. Contractors not starting till 1 pm. and always the excuse and no honesty that they truly were finishing up other jobs and we were continually lied to.

Although we are fairly pleased with the over 2 month project, here are some other things that transpired. * Delays on install, no communication on schedule except late notices * Broken fill pipe that they had to tear out tile and redo, and then accused us of having issues because they stuck something in it. A sponge that they pushed up there was found after my husband spent 2 hour trying to find the reason for blockage. * Pieces of flagstone, mortar and trash just left in the yard, no clean up * Reminded them more than once to clean up our concrete deck that they dropped mortar * Pool light was left loose * Plaster is streaky and not smooth in all areas * Oil stains on driveway from their truck * Went to chat with Owner and was given run around and never got the chance to talk to him about our experience * Last payment they posted utilized our Credit Card but was UNAUTHORIZED by us.

We used to frequent One Stop Pool for all our supplies, but we will not be giving them any additional business. Don't put yourself through this and go with another company for your pool resurfacing needs

This place is one of my favorite stores in Plano! When we first moved here, this store was recommended to us by other pool owners and it was some of the best advice ever given. The guys there not only know there stuff but also will keep you from over spending if it's not necessary. Any place like that will keep my business. Bruce is a huge asset to this store!

All of the guys (and maybe one or two girls) that I've seen in there know their stuff but Bruce is awesome! He helps keep my pool clear, blue and sparkling every time I've come in there to test my water. If your around this area and have pool needs, this is your place!

I was in the pool business a long time ago. I developed a hatred of Leslie's Pool Supply - arrogant, limited brand selections (I.e.-their own brands) and VERY $$$$. I watched them take advantage of and oversell the average pool owner. However, One Stop is hands down the best customer service, friendly, knowledgeable staff and brand selection variety I have ever seen.and all under one roof (One Stop).

Their prices are less than Leslie's and staff are true EXPERTS. When I installed a new LED pool light, BRIAN gave me his PERSONAL phone number to help me with my questions after hours while I did the install. I cannot say enough good things about them. I live in North Dallas and still drive to Plano to do business with them. Customer for life!

Okay. So NO ONE wants to have to mess with a broken pool pump and DE filters on a gorgeous Saturday. That's what we faced yesterday. I won't name the other places we phoned - but let's just say they were less than helpful. They were somewhere in the could've cared less category. Called One Stop. The phone was immediately answered.

All questions were immediately answered. Everything we requested was in stock and reasonably priced. Saved in the range of $30-50 versus the could have cared less other stores. Now here's the best part! When I say they were busy, they were busy! My wait time was less than a minute. To leave the pump there for them to fix it meant the pool would've been out of service for 24 hours. Understandable.

However this excellent dude named Bruce really knows what he's talking about! He made a short video, yes, I videoed the directions he gave me for my husband without even blinking an eye. And everything worked EXACTLY as Bruce said it would! Within three hours we were in the water enjoying the beautiful day and tasty beverages! I will never, ever go anywhere else for any supplies or issues with my pool!

These guys are sharp, have awesome customer service, and good advice. I've been coming here for over 7 years now because their prices are really competitive and they're great with accepting returns or exchanges when something doesn't fit. Best place in Plano for a DIY pool type. I used the remodel department once and was just ok. But the store side is great.

This is the best pool supply store around, bar none. Whatever you need or want for your, these are the guys. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they'll take the time to figure out your problem and offer a solution. Yes, having a pool is expensive but these guys ate even a little cheaper than the competition. If you need hgh quality and low cost, this is the place!

You ever been blown away by people who are extremely knowledgeable and helpful in what they do? I just was...if you need honest advice and great prices on pool equipment or supplies then ask for Bruce here at this store in Plano. They even stayed open 15 mins after 7pm closing time because they knew I was coming
