Ocean Blue Pools

Extremely happy from start to finish. OBP Team were excellent with communications during each step of my pool build. Lisa, Barbara & Ivan managed my project & did so effectively & professionally. Was given a time line of 8-10 weeks, weather permitting, we were in the water from 1st dig date, to adding water to the pool in 6 weeks!

We had our pool built by OBP and I have to say from the day they Barbara and Brandi walked into my door or a rainy ugly and muddy day they still went out to My backyard and on the sides of my home to do thorough measurements and took their time and most Importantly they came with My Land Survey in hand ready to go. I love how they sat down with me and went through the process from beginning to end and answered all my questions without me double guessing myself I immediately knew I wanted them to do our pool they really care about what the customer wants and will not try to add things you don't want on your wish list.

They are perfectionist and will make sure each process is done to not only our standards but there's and that's something special. Ivan is a gem and will always reply back with any questions or concerns I have regarding Pool Equipment etc., Office Staff Brandi, Lisa and Diane are by far the sweetest yet honest individuals I've spoken to by phone via email or text and will always respond quickly also.

I've also referred my neighbor and a personal friend to OBP and they will also be getting their pools really soon. I always will recommend The OBP Family to anyone I know in the market. We've had our pool since the new year and we're all enjoying it. Thank you guys so much!

We started construction in October of 2017 and were impressed with every stage of the process. Teams were onsite when they said they would be. Follow up was awesome and the quality is unsurpassed. We didn't get other bids because we knew who we were dealing with and know their integrity. We recommended OBPI to 2 other close friends and they are as satisfied as we are! Thank you!

Overall, we had an excellent experience with Ocean Blue! They were very responsive, and when it was time to start our pool, they were dedicated to getting it done in a timely manner. We used Ocean Blue to build our pool this year. Initially, they were very responsive - pool built very quickly, great service and communication. After we paid the final installment prior to decking, they were a completely different company. The subcontractor Century Concrete came out to put stamped concrete with acrylic overlay and immediately after the job was done, it rained.

The seal didn't seem to take, and we emailed Ocean Blue immediately with our concerns. The decking was splotchy with water stains and cracking all over. Over the course of the next 3 months, we went back and forth with trying to get someone out to look at our deck and fix it. Finally 3 months later, they sent another decking company to come look at the deck, and they agreed that the job was done poorly.

Ocean Blue has not been responsive to our concerns. We finally gave up and asked them to just finish sealing the mastic on the expansion joints - 4 months after the deck was done - and when the crew came out, Ocean Blue asked us to pay $250 extra to do the job they should have done in the first place! They tried to claim that they never told us they would replace this foam with mastic. Their communication is awful. Buyer beware. Do not pay your final installment until the job is done. Even better, stay away from this company.

They built our pool last year and were great to work with. Communication with the owner and the office was excellent. I enjoyed working with them. Baron and his wife spent a long time at my house answering my many questions while some builders just want to get in and out as fast as they could. They were also great at adjusting to my many additions I made along the way: more decking, lighting, electrical outlets and more decking! If you're thinking of building a pool, I would definitely give them a call.

My experience with Ocean Blue Pools has been amazing from start to finish. Baron received my interest email and was at my house the next day. My pool design and quote were to me in less than 24 hours after that. I loved the design and the fact that Baron sent me the quote with the design (some pool companies did not). I also loved working directly with the owner and his wife, they have a true passion to help build the perfect pool for you and are very honest about your upgrade options.

Once everything was approved by HOA, our pool was completed in 5 weeks! Our pool has been completed for a year now and I can honestly say that Lisa and the team have been on top of every issue/concern we have had. Being first time pool owner, they were very patient and understanding with us. Over all we had no major issues and we LOVE our pool.

Ocean Blue Pools did exactly what they said they would do throughout the process. In addition they kept us informed of any changes that needed to be addressed and they were outstanding in working with us to ensure the cost increases were kept within a reasonable amount. Ivan did a great job of managing the overall project and was great at teaching us how to use the equipment and starting up the pool. Ocean Blue has been the best company to work with for my backyard projects. We have had a lot of contractors perform work in our backyard and Ocean Blue is the one that stands way above the rest. They were personally very involved throughout the entire process, and continuously addressed issues I was not even aware I had. They cared about us during the construction, and have provided fantastic support even after the project was completed. I still reach out to them with questions and I am still treated as if I was a new customer in the building process.

I'm frustrated and disappointed to say I would not recommend Ocean Blue Pools. We started the pool building process in March 2014. After gunite was shot, we had no work done on our yard for 3 weeks. After many phone calls and emails, work finally resumed. However, after work started we did not have good communication with the company. Subcontractors did not show up when scheduled and had to redo many steps of the process.

In Aug 2014, we are still dealing with warranty calls. Even after speaking to the owner, we are not getting the work completed correctly or in a timely manner. No one from Ocean Blue even came out to look at these issues before or after warranty work was completed incorrectly. We are beyond frustrated and would not recommend this company.
