Kalifornia Pool & Spa

We used Nick and Kalifornia for our pool install. I've always wanted an in-ground pool but when our 11 yr old son was suddenly diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer we in Sept 2020 we decided to get it done so he could use it while going through treatment. Nick, like all pool builders last summer, was extremely busy but he made room for us in his schedule! Nick and the crew are amazing!

We were probably not the easiest clients to work and communicate with since we had a lot going on with my son's treatments, traveling every day from the N. Metro to Rochester Mayo Clinic and never doing a huge project like this, we had a lot of questions but Nick was so accommodating and answered all of our questions! Our salt-water pool is amazing!

The workmanship is awesome and we couldn't be happier. My son used it every day he could, it was awesome for him to keep his mind off of what he was going through. Looking forward to Summer and getting it opened up again! Thanks Nick and to all the guys that worked so hard!

Loved working with Nick and his team. Very professional. Quality work. Built in November. So, won't be completely ready until the spring, but they did such a great job and looking forward to finishing everything up with them!

Excellent installation of our above ground pool years ago, now time for a liner replacement. They responded they no longer do above ground pools. If so, their website needs updating. Service: Roadworks

Kalifornia Pools installed our inground pool late fall 2020. They did an excellent job and we are very happy with the end product. Their price was fair and the install/construction was just about flawless. Any questions or concerns we had were quickly addressed and taken care of by Nick. Nick owns the business and understands his name is on the final product. Thank You Nick, it was a pleasure. Our only complaint was that summer ended too soon.

Couple years ago I've asked these guys to clean my gas heater because of the smoke coming out of it. Their technician couldn't start pump to see what's wrong with the heater. He had to come back next day just so I could show him the location of the switch. They charged me extra $30 because that their PROFESSIONAL had to return. This could've been solved with a phone call.

Nick and his team (Bob, Mark, and others) are fantastic. I have an older pool that I inherited from the last owner. Not only was the 15yr old pool liner torn, the pool's bottom was also in terrible shape. Nick's team restored the bottom and did a complete liner replacement. At the end of last season, they helped install a brand new Loop-Loc cover and closed my pool. Nick provides fair prices and great service. Kalifornia Pool is my go-to full service pool company!

Nick and Kalifornia Pools have been the epitome of top notch service and professionalism. I have used them for the past 6 years for the openings/closings of my pool. They are incredibly easy to work with, all I have to do is call Nick and let him know I'm ready and a time that works and he has the job done by the time I'm home from work! I went with Nick and Kalifornia Pools to build my pool in 2015 and have had him open/close it ever since. They were a referral from an old neighbor who inspired me to get the pool. I'm sitting here on my couch in the middle of winter looking out the window at the pool waiting for summer and Nick to get here.

When the house was purchased, the pool in the back was absolutly horrible. We had many pool companies out to give us a quote. Most were in and out in 5 - 10 minutes but Nick, with kalifornia pool & spa, was the only one to sit with us and spend 2 hours answering all questions we had, being new pool owners and very niaeve. We chose nick for his willingness to go the extra mile.

We needed our pool completely redone from liner to pump. Nick made it very easy. Kalifornia pool employees were quick, friendly, knowledgeable and were willing to answer any questions we had. They even spent the time to teach and show us how to properly use all equipment. We use them every year for opening, closing, and everything in between. I would and have recommended Kalifornia pool & spa to everyone that has a pool or is thinking of getting one.

I would rather not open my pool ever again then hire these guys to clean it. They where the biggest headache in such a small amount of time that I have ever had to deal with. They have NO clue what they are doing and i would feel horrible for anyone else who hired them and had to go through the b.s. they put us through. They are not reliable, showing up whenever and whatever day they want and they clearly have no clue how to properly clean a pool and add the correct amount of chemicals. If they are your only choice, cement your pool and grow a garden.
