I had a motor that burned out on my Pentair variable flow pump. I had the distributor/service provider who sold me the pump come out to see what needed to be done to get me back in business. They said that it would be cheaper to buy a new pump and since they had problems with Pentair, they encouraged me to "upgrade" to another pump. You really can't upgrade as Pentair is the best.

I searched for another repair service and landed on H&H. I found them responsive (I needed to get the pool filtered asap) and thorough. They also found some other issues, like meeting code, that had been ignored by the first distributor's service arm. I am up and running now. Hats off to Dave and Ryan.

We used H&H for pool maintenance (which was fine). When a repair is needed, they overcharge for parts and labor. They gave me an estimate for over $1K for a repair. I had a repair company come out after to take a look. The parts and labor that H&H wanted me to pay for were not necessary. I told H&H this and they still demanded payment for $95 for giving me an estimate.

We've been using H&H for years. They've been great. Weekly service keeps the pool and hot tub looking nice, they let us know if they spot an issue needing more attention, and when we call in a repair they often come fix it within the next day.

We have used H&H pool services for over a year. We signed up for basic pool maintenance and received minimal to poor service each week, including an incident of black mold spots at the bottom of our pool. I also requested a minor pool light replacement project 3 times via email but the owner and manager never even bothered to respond. This is unacceptable pool service and basic customer service, even during COVID challenges.

Despite the low ratings on Yelp, I am very happy with the service H&H provides. Ryan is a wonderful technician, friendly, prompt, and does a great job taking care of our pool. He comes weekly and at a set time so that it's hassle free for us. We have a pool safety net, so he knows to maneuver around it, as long as we unlock it for him. I highly recommend them for honest, prompt, great service. Especially for first time pool-owners like myself!

David Hawes the owner followed through on the issue. Ryan is an outstanding technician. He came when I was not home but still since the side door was open and there were no issue of dogs, he fixed the problem and left a note that the issue has been fixed. So I am really happy with the outcome.

I don't agree with negative reviews about their customer service. We have used their weekly pool service since our pool was new in 1996. They have taken good care of the pool, , repaired pumps and installed new ones and installed and set up a Sun Touch Control System. Sometimes it may take an extra day or two for special services in their busiest season. But they do good work, and they they always treat us well. I recommend them.

H&H has provided warranty replacements for all our pool lighting over several calls the past couple years (manuf. defects) and each service call has been quick, easy, and successful. Dave is great to work with, and while Ryan was doing the most recent work, he also provided me various helpful recommendations about how to improve my pool sweeping & filtering. Much appreciated!

I have been lied to by this company too many times now and had too many times that they claimed to have provided all of the service I pay for including brushing without actually doing so. Sometimes even failing to open the pool cover. Chemical readings they have written down were very different than actual readings and they simply do not know how to keep a salt pool balanced. I gave them many chances to live up to their promises and they just don't care.

Highly recommended. I had them do my pool startup and they were reasonable and very professional. Ryan was very conscientious and kept a log of everything done. The owner David is responsive and nice to work with. I just signed up with them to do my monthly chemical service for my pool as a result. I think we should all support small business in these times and am thankful they are servicing clients at a reasonable price.

I started with H&H with a new pool in January 2018. It was just installed. Unknown to me at the start they added more than 2X the required amount of salts/chlorine. Never said a word until I started to use the pool in the summer. Was worse than sea water! They had to drain 30% of the pool and I had to add back fresh water. Costs about $200 here because I live on a hill (pumping charges!).

Throughout the time I never heard a word things were off yet was charged $130. In fact talking to the one or two people involved in taking readings I never got the impression they knew what they were doing. To top things off they had the nerve to charge me almost $300 for "setting up the pool up" at the start. The last straw was when one of them offered to replace a "tail sweep" at the end of the cleaner. Made it out to be trivial/cost free for me - considering the above experience.

For this they charged $35 later. All in all, my own personal experience with H&H has been very poor. Messages on the phone are poorly communicated; nobody seems to be in charge. Get the impression they don't really care they have more business than they can handle. There have got to be better outfits out there. I just went to Home Depo got the exact same kit they use and "do my pool" myself now. Takes 5 minutes and saves $130/month

I had an unfavorable experience with HH Pools years ago. But this warranty call went great. Zodiac customer service hooked me up with my local rep within a day and my pool was fixed within two days. September was helpful in setting up an appointment the next day, and Justin was a knowledgeable, professional and responsive. Couldn't have had a better experience.

H&H have been servicing our pool for years, hassle free, great service. Love our pool guy! All is great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced service that is hassle free.

These guys made me learn how to take care of my own pool. I used them on the recommendation of my pool installer. On his advice I told them that for the first six months the pool should be kept at a Ph of 7.2. After a few months I began checking myself. They constantly left it at 7.8 or above and would just add 1/2 gallon or so of acid. I reminded them a few more times but was basically lazy and let it go.

Final straw was when they 'cleaned' my salt chlorination cell. Charged me $95. I was still getting the red light saying it wasn't chlorinating. Was told that I needed a new cell. This was within a week of their cleaning. Took the old one out. It was caked in build up and obviously hadn't been cleaned. Called them and got told that the guy they had working for them didn't know how to clean salt cells.

So I guess they just charged me and then figured I'd be good with buying a $500 new cell. Had to ask for a refund of the cleaning fee. Dropped them. Saved a bunch of money over the years since.

The customer service is good then the service is unreliable. After your first couple of cleanings they start saying you need different parts for your pool/spa and they start selling you way over priced items. That's probably where they make their money. They start out doing a good job on service but then it gets iffy and unreliable. I paid for full service and got half ass after first 2 visits. I contacted shop and no one returned my call until the bill came due! Would not recommend to anyone! Overpriced and unreliable! Very dissatisfied!

After using H&H Pool for over 6 years, I felt compelled to write a review today. There are only a handful of truly caring companies that I have worked with over the years, that provide the same high level of service on year six, as they did on year one. H&H is one of those fine companies. We were recently worried that we were going to have a very expensive repair when the pool pump and remote were not working, and the control panel showed "SERVICE".

The thought of potentially having to replace the main pool pump was giving us heartburn. But today, David came out, diagnosed the problem as a bad remote relay board and replaced it, under warranty. (The remote and receiver were only a few months old.) WOOHOO! We couldn't ask for a better outcome. But it's not just the repair service that deserves recognition, it's the maintenance teams (the weekly cleaning and chemical guy, the filter cleaner, and even the billing folks.) In all the time we've used H&H, we've never had to make a panicked call right before a party or weekend because our pool was cloudy.

The entire H&H team keeps our pool sparkling clean and provides us with a worry free pool. And best of all, they return calls quickly, respond to emails in a timely manner, and are easy to work with.
