My $3913.92 gate arrived to my residence 3 weeks ago. Since I'm handicapped, I waited for my gate guy to arrive and unpack the boxes. To our surprise, an end-post and all the hardware were all missing. If that wasn't bad enough, one of the double gates was completely bent and unrepairable. In addition to all this, two of the finials had completely broken off.
Now I'm a pretty patient person but NOBODY I spoke to at GreatFence.com were the least bit sympathetic or helpful. They asked when I received the boxes which somehow gave them permission to snap my head off for not inspecting them at the time of arrival. Basically both Sharon in Customer Service (what a joy she is) and Ronny in sales completely absolved the company from any help they might have provided--- kept pointing me to the policies and procedures. Ronny forwarded an email thread that had I actually received ahead of delivery might had been helpful.
He was rude and yelling at me so I had to hang up on him. I've been working with the shipper to submit a claim and I'm hoping to recoup some of the cost. Had GreatFence.com been more customer service focused, I might have been tempted to re-order the missing and damaged items. That will NEVER happen though. This is s toxic company and I would advise you to look elsewhere for your gate/fence needs.
