Fishkill pools designed and installed our pool. They have opened and closed the pool year after year. They have been helpful with any questions and helped solved any issues that have come up. We had an issue with a part and they took care of it quickly. Would recommend them to anyone interested in a quality pool and great service.

Greg and his team at Fishkill pools are the best in the business. After doing our research and getting multiple quotes, we felt confident in our choice and they didn't disappoint. Every step went smoothly. Just as you would expect when the owner is at the jobsite each day. We are thrilled with the finished product and will use Fishkill Pools for all our maintenance needs. Highly recommend!

Use anyone but them if you ever want to get the pool service you need. This business led us on for multiple months claiming they were going to fix our pool but were just waiting for the right parts to be delivered. We had to call them every time to hear any sort of update, until finally 4 months later (now half of the summer is already gone at this point) after we called to inquire on the status for maybe the 10th time, the owner tells the person taking our message over the phone "we can't help them." We then called the crestwood manufacturer to see if we could get the parts sometime in the future to do the work ourselves, and he kept questioning why we weren't using our local distributor.

We told him fishkill claimed they could not help us because they couldn't get the parts. The manufacturer told us that was not true and that he would call fishkill. The manufacturer called us back a few days later and said the owner at fishkill "couldn't remember the details of our situation but would be happy to help us, we just have to call and ask for their help".unbelievable. We caved and called one last time, left a message for the owner, and never heard back.

I have never dealt with worse customer service in my life. My parents replaced their crestwood pool liner with Fishkill pools about three years ago. The following year, the liner was coming out at the edges in multiple places. We called them to fix the problem, and they sent over ONE person to fix the issue. The NEXT DAY, the liner came out at the seems again.

This has being going on for years now, with them putting a bandaid over the problem, making us call various times throughout each season for them to come and fix it. Fast forward to last month, we opened our pool and the SAME PROBLEM once again. I called the store today to ask for a manager and an employee said she wasn't available and if she could relay a message.

I asked the employee (I didn't get her name) what the warrantee on a pool liner was and she put me on a brief hold and came back and told me the warrantee is 25 years. I then explained to her what was going on, and she handled it with professionalism and tact. It's really unfortunate I can't say the same for when the manager, Nicole, called me back a few minutes later.

She started the conversation by telling me I gave the employee wrong information-- apparently, I agreed it was an in-ground liner, instead of specifying it is a crestwood liner. I understand this was my fault. I said "okay. is the warrantee for a crestwood liner astronomically different than the warrantee for an in-ground liner? Is the warrantee for a crestwood liner less than a year?" She told me she didn't know and she'd have to look into it. Interesting, because her employee took at MOST 45 seconds to find the warrantee, but the manager couldn't provide that information any time soon?

The manager, Nicole, continued to say that I didn't give my address or my last name, and everything she's saying to me has the UGLIEST attitude attached to it. I told her my address and last name. She still isn't happy. I started to wonder, WHY are YOU mad? Aren't I the one who paid for a liner that didn't last a season?! She escalated the conversation to SCREAMING.

We are now yelling over the phone at the same time. What a disaster. She told me "don't berate me and my employees!" Berate? Please someone get the manager a dictionary. And I pray the conversation I had with the first employee is recorded because me and her got along swimmingly! The manager has not a clue about what customer service is, and let's not forget the liner they installed is garbage. WOW, I promise you, I've never felt more dissatisfied with a business in my entire life.

If you want a professional company to look after your pool - this is not the company to use. Asked to have my pool opened - the lost the email. Finally opened it but didnt ensure the pool pump was running - two weeks later the pool is still green. Says they had no idea that the home was vacant (despite the For Sale sign in the front yard and empty house). Nicole now understood the house was vacant and said she would send someone over.

The pool never cleared up and instead of following up an proposing moving to a different program (she said the current one would not work), they let the two more weeks go by. They had every opportunity to sell me what ever it took to make the pool look descent but failed. The relationship ended with Nicole yelling at me on the phone. If you are looking for a pool company with ZERO customer service and the inability to open a pool WITHOUT your help, this company is for you. What a disaster.

This is the first year I've ever used a pool service to open my pool. There were a few obstacles like a cracked skimmer and a delay with getting a new skimmer all out of their control. I understand that. What I do not understand is the lack of communication, follow up and lack of service. It took 4 weeks to finally get my pool running and the water is still cloudy.

When I emailed to complain, I received a very nasty and aggressive voicemail from Nicole. I have never been spoken that way before as a paying customer. Her attitude was argumentative and unapologetic. Very rude and unprofessional. My pool is extremely cloudy and the pressure on the pump won't come down despite the fact that she told me it was backwashes. Absolutely the worst customer service and experience I've ever had. I DO NOT recommend them. Shame on them for speaking to their customer that way.

Fishkill Pools cleared my pool! We opened the pool ourselves to a murky mess. We visited Fishkill Pools and had a water test done. After speaking with the lady before the test was even done, we discovered we had yellow mustard algae! Because Fishkill Pools was able to quickly identify our problem, the water cleared overnight and we were swimming in no time. Thank you Fishkill Pools!

Fishkill pools did an ATROCIOUS job at opening my pool. They left the filters off, the skimmers off, didn't attach the correct openings to any of the jets in the pool or spa (which meant the correct pressure could not come through), and switched the ORP and PH sensors. I discovered all of these mistakes one by one, days and weeks after they opened it.

When I called for help they came out and added chemicals that day which I appreciate it, but I continued to find mistakes that they had made. When I received my full bill and complained they told me I should have done a better job calling them to ask for help. Not only did I not discover all of the problems at once but I had little faith that they could fix my pool given the copious number of mistakes that had been made.

Very knowledgeable owner and staff. My pool water is always crystal clear in their watch! They keep up on all the new products in the industry. We also got a beautiful fresh Christmas tree there and the gift shop has some beautiful things. Love this place!

We had a new liner installed in May of 2018 by Fishkill Pools. Immediately after installing the liner and adding the water (just about $5,000), we were losing inches of water a day. The owner of the business did come out and attempt to locate where we were leaking water, after we blew his phone up for weeks on end, and he did make some repairs. Ultimately the repairs did not work and WE had to pay ANOTHER $150.00 for their diver to come to our house and check for leaks.

The diver located 2 rips in the new liner, which Fishkill Pools said they would not cover, or give us a partial reimbursement for. They offered $150.00 in STORE CREDIT! Although the initial work they did appeared to be good, it seemed like once the job was (what they considered) done, and the money was in their hand, they didn't care about their customer anymore. I will never use this business again, and will never recommend them to anyone.

Absolute worst place, looks abandoned and when I went in no one was there, waited like 10 min and a young girl with an attitude comes out. Asked her for chlorine tablets and she responded there right in front of your face. I gave her a peace of my mind and left. Never go here for anything!

Hahaha. This place is a joke. I seriously can't understand how they have stayed in business for so long. Quick summary : We had Fishkill Pools build our 27,000 gallon in ground pool about 12 years ago along with a pool lighting system. This spring, the light system broke, prompting me to call and schedule an appointment with Fishkill Pools. Called on Thursday June 8th and made an appointment for Monday June 12th for mid to late morning.

I took the day off on Monday and waited around for their arrival on the morning of the 12th. After morning came and went, I called around 1pm and was told that I was still on the schedule. No one showed up or called at all. The next day I called and talked with a girl who said she would let her boss know what had happened and someone would call me back.

No one ever did. I did not call on Wednesday but called Fishkill Pools on Thursday and spoke with the same girl again. I voiced my disappointment and she assured me that she would let her boss know. No one called me back. On Friday June 16th I made my final call to Fishkill Pools. This time I spoke with a bookkeeper who could not help me at all but agreed how ridiculous the situation was/is. Still waiting for a phone call back.

Had Fishkill Pools install an in-ground pool 39 years ago and it's still as good as new. Had a new liner installed about 20 years ago by them and they did an excellent job, as always. They are the best when it comes to pools. Their service is always excellent and very responsive. If you want the best pool there is no one else like Fishkill Pool. We will need a new liner next year after about 20 years of hard service and they will be doing the job. We are a very satisfied customer.
