Wow! I am blown away by the service at Swim King! In particular all the knowledge Mark was able to provide us! We decided to switch from chlorine to salt water. Mark and his team made the process so easy for us! Thank you to swim king for making us very happy customers!

I can't say enough good things about these folks. Had three emergency situations where Swim King came to the rescue when no other company would consider taking on the work. Every other pool company said 'we'll see you in May, ' and SK was ON IT immediately. A deer fell through an old pool cover during the winter and tore up the liner (as well as the pool cover), and Swim King kept our pool operational enough to get a replacement liner as well as a new pool cover installed, all during a time when supplies were not readily available and custom orders came with the risk of months' delays.

As soon as the liner and cover were available (very quick turnaround), Swim King showed up and performed the job from beginning to end, despite lousy weather, and didn't let up until the job was done - working straight through the weekend. Management is highly responsive and accountable, and every person who worked on the pool was respectful and skilled.

If we had a question or request (shift the cover, escutcheon replacements, etc.) Swim King accommodated and work was done within the next day or two. Kudos to Morgan, Mark, and Jose - thank you for making this experience a pleasure - when there was so much room for it to be a challenge. Highly recommend.

First and Foremost, I would like to Thank an awesome, one of a kind sales representative, Dan "DJ" Kaczmarczyk. What a pleasure to work with through out the pool process. Dan is professional, Knowledgeable, Patient, who actually cares about you as a customer, made the pool process stress free, and answered all of my (hundreds) of questions in a timely manner. Secondly, Thank you to SK Poolscapes for a beautiful paver patio.

We had an in ground geometric vinyl lined pool installed by Swim King Pools in August of 2021 and a paver patio installed by SK Poolscapes. What an amazing team, and hardworking group they are. They have an impeccable execution. The construction of the pool itself is top of the line, organized, and a skilled process that Swim King Pools provides. We are grateful and satisfied customers who are so happy we decided to go with them for a backyard paradise that will provide us with a lifetime of enjoyment with our family and friends. Also, I did inquire about a pool with a few other companies on Long island and did my research, especially since I was spending a lot of $$$ and Swim King was the only option. If you want a quality vinyl lined in ground pool installed by a professional team, I highly recommend Swim King pools!

We had a pool put in the fall 2019. They did a great job. The crew were professional and timely. I'm glad we went with them. Fall of 2021 they put a Meyco safety cover in. The cost was comparable to other estimates. Since they did a good job in 2019, I decided to go with them in 2020.

What unbelievable customer service I usually don't write reviews but this definitely deserved one. We bought our hot tub from them in October last year. I usually call to make sure they're open before I drive 25 minutes to pick up anything from their store and they have been nothing but responsive and accommodating especially for not being open. The owner was able to get me the products that I needed for my hot tub within 10 minutes and left it right outside the store even though they were closed today. Businesses like this who go above and beyond definitely deserve five stars!

Best experience with SK. We replaced a liner and plumbing lines, upgraded pool equipment, among other things. Everyone we dealt with at SK was amazing, including office staff, work crew and sales team. SK is a one stop shop, which is exactly what we needed. And for the things that were not within their scope of work, SK recommended us to equally professional people. Mark, in my head at least, has become part of my family. Thank you SK!

DJ at swim king was excellent He was patient, was the only pool company that gave us different alternatives on how to layout the pool What I also appreciated that if I call DJ And had a question he would always respond quickly I feel very secure with usin them as my pool builder

We bought a house a little over a year ago and knew that the only thing it was missing was an inground pool. We heard from multiple people that Swimking was the best in the biz, so we took a ride out there to discuss pricing before we even closed on our house. We spoke to Mark who was super helpful from start to finish. He told us some "roundabout numbers" based on sizes and shapes that we were thinking about.

After we moved in (July 2020) and had a new survey to use for permits, we contacted Mark to get the process started. He sent Malcolm our way and he was our person of contact from that day forward. When Malcolm arrived, he discussed options with us as far as pricing, sizes, shapes, etc. He was not pushy in any way and was very honest. We ended up deciding on a 16x36 rectangle pool with concrete steps. Malcolm then drew lines of exactly where the pool would sit based on setbacks and our survey provided.

My husband and I talked it over and Malcolm came back the following week and wrote up a contract for us to sign. We agreed on a start date of May 2021. Excavation started the 2nd week of May and the entire pool was completed by 4th of July weekend. After completion, we were in contact with Ally and she sent someone from their team to show us how everything works and how to test water, etc.

This was extremely helpful! There were a couple of hiccups here and there (rocks under liner, diving board not straight), but as soon as I emailed Ally & Malcolm, it was fixed within days! This company as a whole is very accommodating in every way possible. Malcolm kept in constant contact with me throughout the entire construction process and consistently asked if everything was okay/how we are liking the pool so far/any complaints.

Ally was very accommodating after the construction was completed as far as making appointments and fixing minor issues. And our pool looks amazing! We are so happy with it and are so thankful for the smooth process with this company. I HIGHLY recommend them!

When I decided to get a pool I did a lot of research and shopped around a lot. I went with Swimking and the entire experience was great. Customer Service and Sales were easy to connect with. They gave frequent updates and stuck to the proposed timeline when installing my pool. I would recommend 100%!

From start to finish everything was a great experience. Like in sales was very helpful w layout design and placement. He wasn't pushy and always returned calls or emails in a timely fashion. The equipment operator blew my mind with how precise and neat he was. Every crew who did the build were professional courteous and respectful of us and our property.

Being in construction I am aware of good products and materials used. I've seen plenty of steel wall and other theories on in ground pool construction. SK uses poured concrete walls and a dry mix for the floor to give a nice surface with sturdy walls. Our stairs are full width and poured as well. Steel construction or molded stairs felt tinny and hollow.

They also pad the walls and steps along w texture to reduce slip. The plumbing work was even done using benders to eliminate couplings and installed deep so not to worry about frost. A year later and I've gone to the store for water test advice and products. Not only are the employees knowledgeable about the products but they will spell it all out for you to make maintenance a snap. Ben and Zach especially helped me wrap my head around the ins n outs being I've never maintained a pool. Thanks to all at swim king pools for such a pleasant experience and exceeding my expectations.

We just had a pool installed and are completely satisfied so far. We had many challenges with permits and the craziness of life going on. If there is any room for improvement would be communication and I see that happening with alot of companies these day. Overall looking forward to a fun and great summer. Thank u Luke I know it was a challenge. Our whole family and neighbors are enjoying every minute.

Swim King built the pool at our house under the previous owners. It was already exceptionally beautiful and quite frankly, set this house apart from all others when we made the decision to buy. This year, it was time to replace the liner, and we went back to the experts who built this masterpiece. Communication and logistics were seamless, and pricing was competitive, including thorough installation services and quality products with no hidden extras.

The liner is absolutely stunning and installation was beyond impeccable! This is a beautiful upgrade that exceeded all of our expectations. The installation was so meticulous, it doesn't even look like a liner. It looks like it's actually a mosaic pool (even up close)! Now that we have been spending more time outside, we can't stop raving about how happy we are with how everything turned out. I can't say enough nice things about it. Highly recommend!

Swim King installed an inground pool in my backyard late last fall. They made the process easy. Luke provided design insight, and worked seamlessly with the hardscape company that did the patio and water feature. Luke was responsive to phone calls and come spring time, Swim King sent someone to give me a thorough orientation on how to care for my pool.

This is my first pool, and I have had to call Swim King several times to ask beginner questions, and they have been friendly and supportive every time. I am happy we chose to go with Swim King for my pool installation!

I started a pool project in the beginning of May its was very difficult in the beginning with the pandemic and it took time to get the permits for the pool. When the pool was finally started, I was so impressed with the company, on now well the the company handled things from the start to finish and dealing with issues. The office staff are GREAT people to deal with, the installers we're unbelievable, i would highly recommend Swim King Pools to anyone who is interested in putting a pool in their backyard. Since in today's world our backyards are a little slice of paradise and a place to relax and enjoy. I would highly recommend them to anyone

Swim King has been amazing from the first day they stepped in my yard to give us an estimate. Malcolm was awesome with installation and design of the pool. All the staff that went along with that were amazing as well. Ally who works in the office was nothing but the BEST anytime we needed something I would give her a call and she was on it right away! I can not thank her enough for making this process easy and stress free! I highly recommend swim king to anyone who is looking for a pool installation! Nothing but the best!

In May I decided I wanted to shop around for a pool - especially with the uncertainties that lied ahead. Several companies and phone calls later I came across Swim King. Within 24 hours I got a phone call from the Sales team, this guy Malcolm. Over the phone he gave me an overview and within 5 days (maximum) he came to he house, checking out the property going over details and giving me a quote.

What I liked most in that moment was (very upfront about it too), he quoted me two numbers, one with all the extras (LED lights, Speakers, Waterslide, and the works) and one without.so I'd be able to see and alter and choose (or not), there was no pressure. I went with Malcolm and Swim King. Malcolm assured me that everyone on the SwimKing team was going to adhere to the safety protocols during the pandemic and if I felt any discomfort please let him know.

He was correct, although never felt uncomfortable. The pool was built in 5 weeks. He was on the job sight checking things out and didn't skip a beat. I cant recommend Malcolm and Swim King enough. This is the 3rd pool I've had and by far the best one. Thank you Malcolm and Swim King.

My husband and I hired Scott from Swim King Pools off of a recommendation from a friend to install our pool recently and we couldn't be happier. Scott was so helpful and came up with a great design for our backyard, which included the pool and the masonry! He was always available to answer our calls and questions and the project was completed on time!

He made it a very pleasant and stress free process and we absolutely love the way our backyard came out. We have now passed along the recommendation of Swim King and Scott to several people and they were also extremely happy with both him and Swim King as well!

BUYER BEWARE! My husband has been shopping around for a pool. Today we had Swim King Pools come by to give an estimate. This experience went wrong very fast. As I was in the kitchen I heard a light tapping sound like pebbles hitting a window. I went to look out my front window to see a man standing in my walkway. I opened the door and said "the doorbell is right here".

I figured if he's getting the job he should know how to get our attention. He responded, "well most doorbells don't work". I was immediately confused and asked him to repeat himself, which he did. I responded, again confused "who has a doorbell that doesn't work?" He then asked with a nasty tone "is there a problem?" At this point I'm flabbergasted.

This man is at my door to get me to sign a contract between $30,00 and $50,000. Still confused I responded, "I'm telling you there's the doorbell so you're not standing there" he resplied "I'd just call the number and tell him I'm outside". I then asked him "is there a problem" in which he responded "if it's going to be like this then yes!" At this point I realize what's been said and his tone and quickly became unconfused.

I called my husband to the door and told him what happened. When my husband went outside he quickly changed his tone and said "she got upset because I knocked on the door so I apologize. I didn't know it would came to this". He lied! Nothing close to an apology came out of his mouth. My second mistake was calling the office to inform them about the situation.

The woman who refused to give her name but said she's a clerk in the office made the following statements: "oh, I find that hard to believe; people love Malcolm Gonzalez; he's been with us over twenty years. That's what you said happened". Needless to say, the nameless clerk confirmed that I made the right decision in turning his away. I'm not in the business of paying for disrespect. And the gentleman who visited my home today came with a double dose.

I met with Scott from Swim King and it was the most awful experience. Rude and unprofessional. I had to ask him to leave my property. Scott came very highly recommended from a friend and I was looking forward to meet him and discuss options in my backyard. He kept going on about how poor of a job my builders guys had done on my patio. It continued until I told him that he was leaving a very sour taste in my mouth.

The conversation continued back to the pool and he went to see where electrical stuff was. On his way back he again started with my patio and even kicked my stones and asked who does work like this. I told him that he's making me feel like my backyard is a shit show. And he responded with "you know it is". I told him at that point that we are done and he can leave. Thank you pool king for insulting me, my home and my family. We will not be doing any business with you ever and even an apology won't rectify your awful behavior.

We signed a contract with Swim King in November 2019. Swim King finished our pool in mid April. They worked throughout the COVID stop work order, without masks, showing a complete disregard for the health and safety of their employees and customers. They even advised us they knew they couldn't. Apparently money is all that matters to this company.

Our pool came out good, but dealing with their salesman, Scott, was a complete nightmare from day 1. He is so arrogant and dismissive, we debated not using Swim King, but went ahead based upon the positive reviews we had read. We did not know we would only have to deal with him throughout the project. Once they were paid in full, including change orders we were not told about, communications went from difficult, to non-existent.

Below are photographs of how they left our property. Over the past month, we have made repeated requests for them to remove the excess dirt, as their contract requires them to do so. The way they left our backyard has created a safety hazard for our family. They do not care. Scott and another employee, Morgan, repeatedly told us how many pools they do a month, and they do not need our business.

They also did not put back our fence that they took down, as required by their contract, so we cannot get a C.O. They broke our water meter vault, photo below, which SCWA must now repair. The photos below say it all. Do not use this company, and if you do, insist Scott is not your sales person.

I would not purchase pool supplies from Swim King. I have spent over $80,000 in August 2019 and I needed to return a $249 item. The receipt and the store clearly does not state I cannot return a pool alarm. This is false advertising and therefore they are lying to the general public. How terrible. What else could they be "keeping" from me?! Just a thought.

This is a secondary pool alarm along with door alarms that I already installed for inspection. Fortunately, we are selling our house and moving and I don't need two pool alarms. Perhaps they could have apologized to me instead of hanging up the phone. Poor communication.

I find it funny that there's either five star review reviews or 1 star reviews that would LOVE to put a 0 star, company's make mistakes and not everything is going to run smooth like it should which is ok. I haven't gotten a pool built by Swim King Pools (knowing I am I fellow pool business owners son) but reading the comments people put gets me angered, if someone has 1 or a few bad experiences they'll immediately go to yelp and give em a bad review and to top it all you can't even delete reviews if they're wrong. Oh well what can you do.

Swim King totally renovated my pool in 2006. All new lines and returns, liner, etc. It cost me a fortune. I felt like I was making a good capital improvement because everyone said they were "the best". Shortly after 12 months, once the warranty ran out, we were losing a LOT of water. I kept trying to convince myself that it was evaporation because I didn't want to accept the fact that I had been taken.big time.

For the past 12 years there has been a hose in my pool to keep the water level high enough. It looked terrible. I had my local pool guy (the one that opens and closes the pool) repair a couple of the lines that he was capable of fixing. This year, since the liner is shot, I knew I had to get the pool lines repaired. EVERY SINGLE LINE FAILED the pressure test, except the couple that my pool man repaired a few years ago.

Every single one. The man who is now repairing my pool said it was probably because of the inferior type of plumbing lines they put in. He said they always leak. So, he is taking up the pavers and breaking up the concrete to replace the lines. Imagine the cost. So, bottom line, Swim King installed lines they new would fail because then I'd have to call them back to repair them. Call someone else. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Dennis and his team are first rate. They took over a bad situation, where prior pool person disappeared. Dennis showed up every day himself to make sure that the gunite was sprayed correctly and that the PH levels were slowly brought up to the right levels. They were clear on all different choices of salt and filter systems. They were super helpful in giving objective pros and cons of each. I can't say enough good things about them. They care - think that says it all.

Swim King installed my pool about 40 years ago. They changed my liner when needed, the last liner was replaced 1 month ago. I subsequently noticed a leak in a PVC pipe near the pump. I already have it exposed and I sent the pictures to Mark, who was contracted for the replacement liner. I was told after 3-4 days that they are not accepting any more service calls. He referred me to someone I do not know and has not responded to my call. I guess Swim King no longer services what they sell.

Had a small misunderstanding with the service department that was made right Allie. As a business owner I was happy with the results. This is an honest review as I was not offered an discount and paid full price for everything including the service call. This review has to do with the effort that Allie and Swim King made to ensure that my needs as a customer were met.

Extremely happy with our salesman Luke and all of the people there. The construction went flawlessly, easily and all of their service people and office staff have been terrific!

Still waiting for a "easy fix" to my masonry issue with my stairs. Obviously SwimKing doesn't really care about pleasing it's customers AFTER they put in your pool. I got my original pool built in 1984. That was an ordinary 16 X 36! I was very happy. I was also Happy with price. I got a Swim King Pool built with the same quality for the same price that everyone else paid. Then in 2017 we had the pool modified. We had steps and little swim outs to sit by the pool. Then we had an electric metal cover installed over the pool.

This will keep the pool cleaner and warmer. The most important thing is that I will have nothing to do with this. It is all done electronically. My wife can do the whole job by herself. The price was extremely reasonable. I am one happy customer! :-

This July, a leak was noticed from my new pools' heater that was installed just last year. The heater was found to be rusted as well last month. My pool chemical tests have never shown levels that would lead to rusting, as per TLC pools, the company who tests and cleans my pool. For 5 weeks now I have tried to contact Malcolm (who last year said I could call him at anytime, for anything), Jerri (the service manager), and Randy (the owner of Swim King).

Not ONE of them has returned my calls. Ali (an employee who has been very professional) has called me a few times but only to tell me that they are aware of how upset I am and that she keeps asking them to return my calls. Still no response. I have a warranty, of course. Swim King, via Ali, has informed me that the damage is my fault secondary to water chemical mismanagement.

Yet TLC pools, who manages my pool chemicals states my pool heater is defective. TLC pools noted that they would fight this to the end. So frustrating. What's more frustrating than the mystery of my new pool heater's damage is that Malcolm, Jerri and especially Randy do not have the decency of calling a customer back. Our family has spent tens of thousands of our hard earned money on this "trusted" company. The blatant lack of customer support is making me deeply regret my decision. Do not make the same mistake.

Swim king installed our pool and patio and we couldn't be happier. Our sales rep, Malcom was awesome! No BS or surprises. Pool was built on schedule and looks great. Malcom made excellent recommendations and communicated with us whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend swim king and Malcom. Price was also best we got!

We had our pool installed in July 2015. We trusted the company because we knew a relative. They never came to close pool as agreed and now they claim they did not say we would get the looplock cover as agreed. Nor will they reopen the pool. We paid extra for the hard bottom so we wouldn't see imprints and instead have a pool with permanent footprints in the pool all over.

The wall cracked already in two spots. The yard was not graded as promised 10 ft around the pool. Instead we were left with an uneven yard, where rainwater leaked into pool first big rains. So sand also entered pool. Rusted nails were used in construction. Sharp edges left. When nails were replaced after complaining they just dumped nails next to pool.

I specifically asked them to make sure none were left behind because I have a child. They also drove their truck over our pole that had an electrical outlet on it. The wires and outlet were ripped out of ground. Yard decor was also smashed. Their answer was it was a bad place to have it! When requesting the repairs and the items owed to us, there were crazy exchanges from a manager.

The owner we are told doesn't care to speak to us. All we want is for the owner to come see the pool and fix issues. I was also hit in the head by accident by a worker with the fence pole. We are extremely unhappy. We have now heard from others who are having similar problems. I told them they will hear from my lawyer if the owner doesn't come see the job they did and fix it. It saddens me that knowing a family member and chosing their company due to that means nothing.
