Bob and his team did a great job installing our pool. Bob is licensed in Denver county (something to check with other companies) and was masterful in navigating a challenging permit process. Bob is 100% honest, explained everything happening throughout the project, and was very patient when our boys wanted to ask questions about the crane, skid steer, tools etc. Bob doesn't sell the deal and walk away, he will be onsite working with his team from the start until the finish. Highly recommended.

We had Bob come out to evaluate our space and give us an accurate bid. He was clueless on the cost of dirt removal (asked us to find someone who wanted the dirt and sod), the crane (we'd apparently need a big crane), electrical and gas line (he asked me how I planned to run the gas line under the sidewalk). He gave us the phone numbers of the contractors who did this work and I was supposed to call them to get quotes. Wait?

I thought that was his job? We told him we'd like sandscape concrete which was listed as an option in his brochure. He didn't know what that was and was quick to say his concrete guy doesn't do that anymore. Definitely not a turn key pool contractor and his prices don't reflect that at all. I got a bid for a 100% turn key (including repairing damaged landscaping) for the same price as Bob and I'd be doing zero work. Easy decision.

Bob did a very good job at delivering the exact pool, accessories and finish as promised. Free first year winterization and the pool, controls and associated equipment all work very well!. The end product turned out excellent!

We purchased a Viking pool from Bob. Best decision we made during the building of our new home. Bob and his team had the pool opened as promised and the saltwater pool was virtually maintenance free. The dogs love to autocover, I guess it is a water bed for dogs. Hopefully the landscape around the pool matures enough that Bob can take photos this summer. I am already looking forward to adding a spa with Bob and his team.

Bob did an excellent job at building our pool in the spring of 2014, and once we figured out exactly what we wanted, he helped us every step of the way in the decision making process to realize our plans. I would recommend Bob to anyone who is interested in installing a fiberglass pool with the complete concrete decking option.

Bob did an outstanding job installing my pool and in-ground hot tub. He is always prompt if I need him to fix something. I would highly recommend Denver Pools - their work is great. I've been a customer for over 15 years now - Bob is the only Pool Man I need. Regarding pricing, Bob is fair and I have found him to be very honest and dependable.

Bob did a great job with the pool and we love it. The workmanship and quality were outstanding. We wish it could have been finished quicker but it was definitely worth the wait. Everything was done in accordance to the contract and the agreed upon price. We continue to use Bob to open and close the pool each year and he's always very reliable. We love having the pool on these hot summer days and not having to fight the crowds at the community pool. Highly recommend Denver Pools to everyone.

Bob did an amazing job on our pool. He performed the job as promised at the price agreed upon. Bob installed pool concrete surround, slide, and diving board. I would recommend Bob and Denver Pools to anybody thinking of building a pool. The pool has been the best investment for our family.

To be fair, the work quality was pretty high. However, the contract signed on 2/23/13 and the pool was not able to be used until September 14, 2013 and was promised by 7/4/13. The pool was dug and placed in the ground on 3/23/13. The final electrical inspection was completed on the first week in January 2014. Fiberglass spa was delivered to the property and sat on a trailer in my driveway for 7 weeks. Bob (owner) told me that we need a ton of dirt.

I paid $880 for a series of 25 ton loads and most of it was not used. It was also hauled from another site where Bob was digging another pool and dirt was wet. Driver spent 3 to 4 hours type to get the first load emptied and I was paying by the hour. Bob tore up numerous black pipe sprinkler lines including the line to all of the trees and shrubs.

Some were fixed and some were not. 2) Bob was digging for the gas line and broke the main sprinkler pressure line and a 7-conductor wire cable to control 6 zones. He not only dug up the line but he continued to pull the shovel up with the line broke and pulled addition sections of the line out of the ground. Bob never offered to fix any of these lines or even pay for any of the parts/supplies.

Grass and shrubs died since we had 4 to 5 days of 95 degree temperatures before we could get this fixed. A concrete person that Bob uses on all pool jobs showed up on July 12th to measure all of the concrete that we wanted to pour. I asked Jerry (concrete subcontractor) when he could start the concrete and he said about 2 weeks. Jerry said that he would provide a quote in the next few days. Jerry came back on July 25th to measure a second time since he never provided a quote.

He returned on Saturday 7/27/13 and provided a hand written quote that was basically $19 per square foot for stamped concrete. Steps were and additional $950 for one set and $600 each for the other two sets. I asked Jerry when he could start and he said that be about 2 more weeks. Bob told me that he could not pour 5 feet of colored concrete around the pool for the amount that he agreed in the signed contract.

Contract and brochures indicate that the price for colored concrete was $10 per square foot. He told me that he would give me an estimate on 8/1/13 but never called back. When Bob showed up on Friday 8/2/13, Bob told me that he would need to charge me $13,000 for the $7,000 worth of concrete we agreed to in the contract. The brochure and the contract state that the price is $7,000 for the 700 square feet of concrete or $10 per sq ft.

The new price is $18.57 per square foot. I told Bob that he needed to honor what he agreed to and he said that he would just credit my final bill for the $7,000. Bob told me twice that whoever does the rebar should do the bonding on the pool. We had to hire another pool contractor to do the bonding. A few weeks later Bob said several times that he never told me that he would not do the bonding. I hired another contractor to do all of the stamped concrete at about $12 per square foot. STAY away from Denver Pools and Spa or you will be sorry!
