Amazing company. The staff that I dealt with; Karen, Matthew, and Sean provided outstanding customer service, and were very knowledgeable and professional. I had a algae issue, but was treating it incorrectly. Matthew told me what to do and the problem has been almost completely resolved I just a few hours. This is definitely my new pool company!

Marks in the parts department went out of his way to help me when I called with a question. My parts were a factory up grade and he walked me through my problem. Great customer service. Highly reccomend.

Buddy's did a great job on opening my pool and discovered a leak in the multiport valve. Their service crew quickly replaced the valve within a few days and the pool is operating great. I highly recommend Buddy's for pool service and chemicals

Had a problem with a booster pump and was given the run a round by the manufacturer in reference to warranty. Though we were out of buddy's service area they readily agreed to service the pump repairing same. If we lived closer they would definitely be our store. Thanks Jeanne Bowers

Trish, Quite sad to notice horrible response from you. Instead of apologizing for below average service you hang up my call. Twice you lost water samples knowing that I was concerned about algae growth. On Monday you were supposed to replace dysfunctional Polaris pump and clean or treat algae. Instead your guy did nothing about algae nor remember to replace pump.

Simply clean few leaves in the depth of pool. Today instead of replacing your guys brought another defective pump and left it connected. Now who will pay to take that dysfunctional pump's disposal? Loosing two water samples in a row and no remorse! No cleaning of algae! Is that kind of service you provide to all customers? Totally unacceptable and deplorable. I am cancelling my service with you and expect full refund for doing nothing. Nadeem Rizvi.

Very rude and inconsiderate customer service.if you want to call it that. I called Buddy's on the recommendation of our regular pool service for tile issues with our pool. I left Buddy Jr. 3 voicemail messages before finally getting a call back from someone (not Buddy Jr) wanting to schedule a time to look at the pool. We scheduled the appointment for nearly a week out at 11AM.

The appointment time came and went, and no Buddy.no phone call. I called and inquired where they were and was then told "oh, he had a Dentist appointment this morning and just walked in the door".seemed strange since he was supposed to be walking up my driveway. Anyway I was put on hold and when she returned she just said "yeah, we are not going to be able to get out today, we will have to reschedule." No I am sorry for the inconvenience, no we dropped the ball on this and will make it right.just a nonchalant we are going to have to reschedule like it was business as usual. there was zero concern for my time at all.

I asked for them to come out this Friday and was told that it was not possible and I was then sent to Buddy Jr's voicemail again. I left Buddy Jr another message. A while later I received a call from a young lady at Buddys pools wanting to schedule for a week from Friday. When I informed her that I would not be in town she suggested the following week.

This would be nearly a month out from my initial contact/appointment that THEY FAILED TO SHOW UP FOR. when I raised the point that this was not my fault as I was present for today's appointment and that they should be working hard to make their mistake right, she snapped at me, spoke nastily to me and abruptly deposited me again into Buddy Jrs voicemail. I am not holding my breath to hear from Buddy Jr.

Buddy's Pool has been servicing our pool for the last 3-4 years. They have by far been the best company! They have always been responsive to my calls and so pleasant to deal with. I cannot recommend them enough! Our pool has never looked better!

From the in person service to the office staff. My experience with buddy's pool service has been outstanding. Phil, Rob and George were dead on it with their analysis of my pools filtration system. The solution was timely and economical. Would absolutely recommend if they service your area!

Karen the customer service is so rude, she does not let you talk and when i try to clarify where the $95 charge is for. she treated me as thief and not trying to pay. Very sad. Paid her right on spot with credit card. Its not about money, its about to keep your customer happy and and explain to them in a nice calm voice.

Have been less than pleased with almost everything buddys has done for us. The technicians did not close our pool properly for the winter which caused all of the water to drain out. Not only did it flood our lawn, but the inside of the pool then cracked from being dried out for many months. Buddy's adamantly denied any fault. We had two other pool companies take a look after and they both said the cause of the cracks was from the water leakage. Buddy's did absolutely NOTHING to make this tight whatsoever.

This company is fine to go into the store and purchase equipment, but absolutely do not use any of their services or technicians work on your pool. We used them for 5+ years and had nothing but problems

Just arrived home to find this company had pulled a high powered hose up to the edge of my neighbor's property line, aimed it towards my yard, AND EMPTIED MY NEIGHBOR'S ENTIRE SWIMMING POOL IN MY FRONT YARD. When approached the technicians replied "calm down it's just water." We got a non-apology from the owner and a 'thank for for telling us, I will call and let the guys know." How a company rectifies their wrongdoings is just as important as the quality of the work they perform- this company obviously falls short on both fronts.

It's November 10, 2014 I just got off the phone w/ 'Trish' re pool closing. She's very abrupt and could use some serious one on one personal training in the sales & charm department. I reminded her that I'd called over a month ago and was still waiting for the contract, which they require. completed and paid for in full, up front, prior to doing anything for the client.

While she disavowed knowing who I may have spoken with, it was a 'no brainer' for me. "you, I remember the attitude!" Our original pool guy quit the business; his replacement team didn't know much, if anything about our fully automated Pentair System so we replaced them with another promising outfit who, unfortunately seems to have also gone out of business.

Why Buddy's? Well, apparently they're the only 'authorized' Pentair Dealer in the area, staffed/stocked to repair full on Pentair Systems otherwise, this afternoon's experience w/ Trish has me biting my lip. and hoping that the rest of their team is much more outgoing, customer friendly and come with a great attitude. Otherwise, since I've worked on my share of cars, cycles and whatever else in my lifetime, perhaps closing our pool should be one of those 'services' I just bring back in house. after all, 'service providers' don't ever think for a second that chores are delegated to the service industry for any host of reasons, many having to do w/ time and convenience vs. any lack of ability to perform them. Stay tuned. if the service team earns 5 stars (and I hope they do) I'll report back!

I just purchased a house with a pool. I needed some assistance with information on care and pool closure. The person I dealt with was demeaning and rude. I was willing to pay for my pool closure and maintenance but now I will go to a shop that appreciates my business.

We have owned a spa from Buddy's pool and spa for about 3 yrs. in those 3 yrs we have had nothing but problems. just recently the motor in our spa has gone bad we have made repeated attempts to contact the service department to make arrangements to have it serviced. not only do they not return phone calls but when we went into the store to speak with the manager who assured us they would be out to service our spa, not once but twice they were a no show. not even a phone call. this is unbelievable treatment of customers and despicable way to run a business

I needed to have a motor replaced for my Pentair Stainless Steel SuperFlo Single Speed Almod Pool Pump 3/4 horsepower pump. I was quoted 381.38 with a cost of 289.95 for just the motor and 91.43 for other parts and services. A basic amazon search netted me a brand new pump shipped for 280.61 and the motor if I wanted to just purchase that would only cost me 162.64.

So for those who did the math the full cost of just a repair would cost me 381.38 whereas if I just bought a brand new pump it would cost me 280.61 that is 100.77 over the cost of a new pump.

A tree fell in our pool due to a bad storm in the Carroll County area. We were working with insurance to come up with a quote for the storm damage. Buddy's had a great first impression. It is a family business, and the son came out (Buddy Jr.). He told us for the storm damage they would have to drain it and said when they do, we could also get it resurfaced (non-tree damage related).

We told them to give us a quote for the storm damage plus one for resurfacing so we could see how much it was. One week later, we finally got the quote. It was all wrapped up into one quote instead of two, and also didn't include the cost of water replacement. After we called them and explained things to them, Buddy Sr. was going to come out.

As I waited for Buddy Sr. to arrive, staying home from work in the morning, he never showed up.all day. Upon calling them, the person on the line could only offer, "I'm not sure where he is." At the end of the day, they told us he would be there Tuesday (the following day). No one showed. No phone calls. It is now a week later and I called back (the initial visit was June 18, and it is now July 10).

I asked the individual who answered what happened, and there was no record of any of this. Before putting me on hold, I said, "If you cannot get someone out in the next day or two, we'll have to look somewhere else." The individual came back a minute later and stated, "The scheduling person messed up. We can't get someone out there in the next day or two." That was it. Terrible business practice. Our pool is now a swamp of frogs because they told us not to put any chemicals in it to prep for draining. Thanks Buddy's.
