Had run into multiple problems opening my pool this year. I had gone to a few pool places but they were no help. A friend mentioned this place and I'm so happy they did. The staff was great. They got me everything I needed and we're helpful every step of the way. In my opinion, top pool place to go to in this area hands down. My new pool store

I called just to simply ask a question. This person wouldn't even answer my question, was extremely rude and rushed me off the phone, told me to come in because it's like buying a car. All I had was a few questions to ask prior to coming in but I will never go to this place, never have and never will!

Had trouble with the suction of my pump. 3 other pool companies before I called these guys. The technician Chris and his partner Scott figured out the problem within minutes. Very knowledgeable and polite. Quick and responsive! Would recommend them for all pool needs.

I have used Better Pool Management since last year. I had to get a complete renovation on the pool. Dan was awesome every step of the way. He instructed me on whom and what I needed for the renovation. After the complete renovation Dan came and made sure everything was working correctly. Dan is very knowledgeable and I will always use Better Pool Management because of him.

We had them come out for an estimate in early May to drain and clean an in ground pool that had not been cover from the season before. They took pictures and gave us a quote and they said they would call and set up for someone to come out. After waiting over a week for a phone call they insisted that the lines of the pool needed to be pressure tested before they could do any work.

It took three or four weeks for someone to even come out to test the lines. Even though we told him that the lines were fine because the pool was holding water. They then tried to tell us that we needed a structural integrity inspection even though we knew once again that the pool was fine. They finally came out and they tested the lines which were fine and they left.

It took numerous phone calls for us to even get in touch with somebody to find out when they were returning to drain the pool. After wasting our time since early May they backed out of the job stating they couldn't see if the liner was in good shape. We know that the liner is fine as it is pretty new but this was their excuse once again to back out of the job.

This place is horrible. They've wasted my time for over a month and a half and now I have to try to find somebody in late June to come do the work. I am so glad i did not pay them anything upfront as they would have probably took the money and never did the job dince thry backed out. I would not recommend them to anyone

I hired them to open my pool for $500. They just removed the cover and left. They did not turn on the filter. When we turned on, it did not work. I called Jim to ask him why they did not turn the filter on and make sure everything is working fine before they leave, he was so rude and defensive and hung the phone on me. The pool filter does not working now, and I have to hire somebody else to finish their work, $500 more. I could not reach the owner to complain! Nobody their willing to finish the opening.!

HORRIBLE! I called and spoke to "Jim" the day after they opened my pool. I had a concern about the operation of the filter. He was rude and condescending. Also defensive and argumentative. When I did not accept his lame excuse that they are working 12-14 hour days as the reason his staff left without making sure that everything was working properly he told me to have a nice day and hung up on me. I wouldn't use them again if they were the only pool company in the tri-state area

Horrible customer service from "Jim" in reference to a concern that I had the day after they opened my pool. I actually called at 4:00pm on the day of service but a recording said they closed at 3:00. The website says they are open until 5:00. His tone was condescending and his demeanor was argumentative. The "jet" at the return valve wasn't moving water and there was no suction in the skimmer basket.

I asked if he would send someone out to look at it and his response was he could sched me a "service call in 2 weeks". I told him that under the circumstance, his men had turned on the pump but not made sure it was working as it should that I was not willing to pay for a service call.his response was "then we're not coming". When I informed him that his staff had not made sure to screw the "eye" into the return he said it was my responsibility to give it to them.

And since I hadn't asked I couldn't expect them to ask. He kept repeating they are "pool experts" but there was absolutely no expertise in the service. I WOULD NOT recommend them.

Not happy with the professionalism of this company. I called to get pricing for a pool closing. The scheduler, a woman, spoke to me and said that they could come out on Monday. She stated that she could not schedule until I gave her a 50% deposit over the phone. I told her I would call her back after speaking to my husband if we wanted to move forward. Therefore, closing should NOT have been scheduled since I did not agree to the deposit, or confirm that I was available Monday.

In the meantime, I found another company to close the pool for $100.00 less. Today, Tuesday, I received a voicemail from the same woman to let me know they came out yesterday to close my pool (while I was at work) and that it had already been closed. The only reason for her call was to let me know that I "wasted their time". I never agreed to the closing or I would have given a deposit.

The fact that she called me specifically to blame me for her wasted time I thought was very unprofessional. I tried to call the office back to speak with her and was told she was "gone for the day". I tried to explain to the person with whom I was speaking that I wanted to speak with the woman to let her know that I did not appreciate her voicemail.

I informed the man on the phone of the situation and let him know that I never agreed to the closing. He said I should have called and cancelled. How can I call and cancel something that I never scheduled? He basically called me a liar by using the term "he-said, she-said" and told me to have a nice day and hung up. Go somewhere else for your pool needs. I found 3 other companies that were much less for opening and closing needs. They were also way more professional.

Needed new lines on my pool, they told me on a Monday they will send someone out, they showed up on a Friday only to inform me they don't work on vinyl liner pools. I told them in the original call what type of pool it was.

Never had an issue with the guys doing the work and John Lee at the store is the best, he's always helpful and has assisted me with several issues.

We had them service our pool 10 years. They sold us a heater that never worked right, so we added a gas heater. For 3 seasons the promised to fix the air heater. This year they told us we needed to call our own HVAC company and needed a new pump. We were annoyed and called to question, but no reply. Our contractor was here and took the pump to his pool store.

If they had fixed it last year (our contract included repairs at a discount) the price would have been $70. Better pool want $700! Anyway, we've been asking for a reply, and waiting. We had the deluxe valet service, and when we entered the shed to see what we needed it was filled with empty bags and cans used by better pool tecs last year. Like a garbage heap. I feel like the assumed I'd be their maid.

One week ago my husband purchased a cover for our pool. After not even one week he noticed that one of the seams was coming apart. He called the store and they said he would have to contact the manufacturer. This past Sunday 9/15/13 my husband went to the store with the cover and was given a credit but one of the worker's told him to never come back and to go shop at Leslie's Pool Supply. He also told him to get off of his property, We have been going to this store for over 30 years and if this is how they treat people we will take our business elsewhere.

This is the second year we've used this company (and the last). New to pool ownership we went to their store last year. The man at the store was very nice. We then scheduled an appointment to close our pool. It was extremely expensive and they refused to give us an appointment time. We waited all day for them to show up. This year we made the mistake of using them again.

They were rude when making the appointment. They day they were suppose to come they called at 10am to cancel and got mad when we complained because we used a vacation day for it. When they finally showed up the next day it wasn't until 3pm (another wasted day). The one pool guy was quite which is fine but the other pool guy was rude. The women on the phone said he would show us how to close the pool.

When I mentioned it he rolled his eyes and continued on with what he was doing. Each time I asked a question he was annoyed. After loosing a couple vacation days and a couple hundred bucks for them to 1/2 way close our pool, it is official. We will never use them again!
