Our pool technicians are trained and experienced in installing above ground pools of any size and budget. We specialize in leak detection, equipment malfunctions, new liners and general swimming pool repairs. Call us for all of your pool supply needs including pumps, filters and the pools themselves. We were founded in 1985 by "Doc" Mandel, in York County. Since then we've been providing our expertise to the surround areas by installing and servicing above ground pools. Being a family owned business, we keep our work in house.
Services
The Polaris Turbo Turtle vacuums the bottom and sweeps the sides of any above ground pool. It does this in three hours or less, even if you have an uneven-bottom pool up to five feet deep. The Turbo Turtle can be installed in minutes and is designed to operate with the pumps and filtration systems normally found in aboveground pools.
What's more fun then going for swim in your pool on a hot day? Swimming in a pool may be a great way to spend the day, but bad pool maintenance can cause problems that may keep you out of the water. We at Best Pools want our customers to know how to properly care for their pools, that's why we've provided information on how to maintain and treat problems that may occur with your pool.

Love our pool from here. Great people to work with. Small, family business. Many styles and sizes to choose from. Mostly above ground pools and supplies. Fair prices. Good installation service. We went to two other pool places and they didn't even ask if we needed help! Once a year Best Pools has a party for it's customers old and new. Before you buy anywhere else, check them out. Updated June 2022 - Worth the drive from Providence Forge to Yorktown.

The owner is so unprofessional. It amazes me they are still in business. I can only think it's because other customers have not had to come in direct contact with her. She would rather blame the customer for her employees (admitted) mistakes than own it. Because of her, and her alone, I would not recommend this business. I waited to do a review because I didn't want to write one with anger. Well, I figured out that will never happen.

Seriously the most educated, helpful, informative people in the area when it comes to pools! The amount of knowledge they have freely given me to upkeep my pool is priceless. Their prices are competitive and they do deals when you buy in bulk. Every time I come in, they answer my hundred questions with ease. Helped my pool go from green to mean

Bought our 2nd one from them 2 years ago to replace the old one. Bought the first one from them as well. Whenever we needed something we were treated very well, they were always timely and courteous. When second pool went in we were under the gun to have completion before our backyard wedding. There had been many rain days backing up their schedule.
Somehow they were able to get us done, knowing the importance of the event for us. Went out of their way to accommodate us. We would recommend Best Pools to anyone interested in a good product and excellent customer service. Sorry it took so long to post.

Best Pools has literally lived up to their name! I am a first time pool owner with a billion questions and each time they have been very patient with me. Antonio was very polite and helpful each time that I went into the store. Over all I absolutely love Best Pools and will be returning for all my pool needs.

Great pool vendor and sales. They are excellent in their recommendations. In a no pressure environment, they offer suggestions and sound advice to make owing a pool extremely easy. Their free water test station allows you the opportunity to make your pool swim ready in under a weeks time (although your pool may vary). Great business and employees who I recommend to anyone who owns a pool.

These guys are awesome! After going to other stores for help and spending all day trying to repair my pump, we were prepared to spend $300 for a new pump. I called and then came in, but before the purchase they asked what was wrong with the old one. We showed them and within minutes they identified the problem and within 10 minutes we were done and fixed and ready to go. We only paid for parts. We should have come here first.
