Barnes Pools

I had an issue with my pool. After giving Barnes Pools a call to request service, a technician was out the next morning. Mark quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. He even called back the next morning to assure the problem was resolved. A big thank you to Katie, Mark and Barnes Pools

They don't seem to want any new business so don't bother! They won't even schedule a estimate until you send them a property survey. I sent them a survey, waited a day and didn't hear anything back. Then sent another email to check they got it and to schedule an estimate.still no response. I called 6 days after sending in the survery for them to tell me that I need to send it in again because it didn't come through clear. The receptionist didn't like me voicing my dissatisfaction at the fact that nobody responded for a week and basically said they're not interested! I'll be looking elsewhere.

Signed contract in Aug 2020, pool wasn't completed til Apr 21. Understandable, but don't believe Al Barnes when he says 6-8 weeks from digging. He's out of touch. He doesn't own all his operators the way he suggests. The job foremen Scott Barnes never set foot on our property. We conversed with Katie in the office or with the contractors on site. Our tiles have already sunk and have had to be corrected, but that I hear is expected. Beautiful pool, but not without a TON of communication problems

I signed my contract in Aug 2020, completion April 2021. I was surprised at how slow each step took, but I understand worker shortage happens. They built me a beautiful but basic pool. I have had the tile guys out once for sinking pool tiles. Do not believe what Al Barnes tells you. Your pool will not be built in 6-8 weeks. That's not realistic like it was in the past.

They will build a Beautiful pool, but you must have patience. Note. Scott, the project foreman, NEVER ONCE, set foot on our property. We directed all of our concerns to his sub contractors, his wife in the office, or the laborers. He was PERIODICALLY available via text, only when it was convenient for him. Not impressed with the communication with the office. Glad to have a beautiful pool, but would recommend them with reserve.

Barnes pools built our pool 30 years ago. At that time they really good. Here it is 30 years later; our pool now needs resurfacing. We called them for a quote as we would be a return customer. The son came and took pictures of our pool and deck; promised us they would send us a quote by that day or no later than the next. a week later we called asking about the quote. They promised we would have it that day! It's been three weeks still no quote not even a call. We are very disappointed.

Al Barnes is an old school businessman.laid back, honest, and knowledgeable. He gave me an honest appraisal of resurfacing our pool, helped us select the materials we wanted, and promised the work would start in February. Work started as promised and was done COMPLETELY a week later. The work done by all Barnes employees was first rate. All were pleasant, accommodating and, most of all, competent.

After the resurfacing was completed, we had a big leak. I texted Scott and alerted him, and he said he'd let Mark know. The next morning, Shane showed up, found a couple of leaks (skimmer and main drain) and had them fixed within an hour. He was very nice and seriously competent. He answered all my questions and assured me he this was normal and he got it fixed.

A week and a half later as I write this review, ALL is well. The water level is stable and the new finish looks beautiful. All in all this was a very pleasant experience with Barnes Pools. They might not be the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your pool refinishing needs.

Barnes did beautiful work on my 22 year old pool and deck. We couldn't be happier with the work done, the guys that did the work and the professionalism. The concrete deck was cracked and would no longer hold onto deck paint. They installed pavers and it's beautiful. The new pool finish is immaculate. They went out of their way to make sure everything was done properly. Scott was a joy to work with.

There were only 2 issues I had. 1) The crew that did the pavers. None of them could speak English. I know it's not easy to do, but they should have someone on site that can communicate with them so questions or requests can be taken care of. 2) Was not sure if the job was completed. Know one came out to inspect the completed work and ask if there were any issues I had.

No thank you for the business and give me the feel good feeling that if a problem came up to call them for assistance. I understand that during this COVID-19 crisis we were in that things do go array and things can be forgotten. They worked under this stress for the month of July. I do highly recommend Barnes Pool to take care of all your pool requirements. They build beautiful pools and do great renovations.

We signed a contract with Barnes Pools to complete our pool in early 2019 and have been over the top pleased with the aesthetic results and the quality of their service! Scott Barnes and everyone we encountered from their company was extremely professional and very responsive to any question or concern we had during the process and I had a lot:. When he told us they could have the pool done in 8 weeks we were doubtful, but they did it and made sure everything was perfect. Additionally we needed a couple service calls and they were extremely patient making sure we felt comfortable using all the pool and spa equipment. Additionally our lawn company accidentally got fertilizer chunks in the pool which stained the new Pebble Tech and Scott sent someone out immediately to get the stains out! We strongly recommend you get a quote from Barnes Pools is you prefer excellence in quality and service!

Professional and accommodating. We changed plans several times mid construction and everyone was fabulous. Done on time and on budget. Could not be happier.

Barnes Pools just completed a beautiful pool and spa for us. Halfway through the construction we decided we wanted a larger deck on the backside they were very accommodating to ensure we had the pool of our dreams. This is the second pool we have had built. Barnes Pools by far was home run as compared to the first pool builder. The quality and workmanship is A+ - they do much of the work themselves.

The work that they do subcontract out is also done with incredible quality. A couple of minor concerns we had were addressed immediately with satisfaction. We did our research before choosing Barnes Pools. They are a well known, family owned company, with a great reputation. They stand behind their work and survived the downturn of the economy (while many other pool builder didn't).I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to build a pool or spa.

We could not be happier with our new pool installed by Barnes Pools. From the moment we walked to into Barnes we were welcomed with professionalism, kindness, and knowledge and it didn't stop there. The team at Barns, from the design and admin staff to the installation team were amazing to work with! Now that the pool in completely installed and being enjoyed Barnes continues to monitor and educate us with daily weekday 30 day after care. Barnes Pools just finished our beautiful pool. This was our retirement dream and they certainly made it come true. From beginning to end they have been responsive at every step. They are a family owned business and treat their customers as you want to be treated. We were helped picking out pool finish, pavers and tile so we ended up with the pool we wanted.

There were never long waits between parts of the process. We had our pool in 8 weeks just as we were told. The employees were friendly and very respectful of our home. Barnes Pools has recently rebuilt my whole pool and enclosure after Irma. The whole job was completed both professionally and on time. They did repairs to my yard that no other company was willing to do. I would recommend them to my best friend!

Barnes Pools did a fantastic job. This was a complete remodel including adding a large section of deck, pavers, new screen enclosure with a pan roof on part of it, new pool tile and resurface the inside of the pool. We couldn't be happier. It came out great. The workmanship was fantastic. Pricing was reasonable as well. I would easily recommend them to anyone.
