Greg and Heather have been very friendly and always go above and beyond to make our pool sparkling every year. We installed our pool in 2003 and so glad we entrusted Backyard Dreams to install our pool.

Heather did a great job finding us a pool & liner in the midst of pool shortages due to the pandemic. We are loving swimming in our new pool & would recommend going with Backyard Dreams for your home.

This is the pool company to use in the Alton area. They have fair prices and do a great job opening and closing the pool as well as providing the information you need regarding repairs. We had a warranty claim on our salt cell and they were our assigned service company. We tried to get in contact with then for a couple days at the beginning of the process and they gave us a date 1 week away, not ideal but we were understanding and thankful they were coming. To get ahold of them we left several messages and called and called until someone finally answered.

On the day they were supposed to come I try calling again.about every hour.no answer. I left a patient message in the morning and an annoyed one in the afternoon, and finally someone answered my call around 4pm. She was super rude (called me "honey" in a tone that we all know meant nothing sweet), provided no information about where my ticket was in the list (assured me this is common practice and that I'm the only customer who wants to know when their equipment is getting fixed), told me our pool was just really far away to get here quickly (they are the ones who agreed upon a service area with the warranty company?!) and promised to pass my name and number along to the owner.

He never called either. Blame Covid all you want, but this is horrible customer service even during a pandemic. Answer your phone and make sure the girl doing that has knowledge of the schedule. Needless to say we contacted the salt cell company to request our warranty claim be switched to a different service provider who was even farther away but still showed up less than 48 hours later (first call on a Saturday morning.they answered their business phone too.5 Stars for Pool Tron).

Good luck backpedaling on all your terrible reviews as I see you continue to do. Editing to reply to the owner's response.if I was out of your service area why did you accept my warranty claim from Pentair? Why did you say you put me on the schedule and I just needed to be patient and you would be here (for over a week I waited while treating my pool with Chlorine)?

I live 27 miles from you. Absolutely ridiculous and I wish I had gotten a straight answer on day 1 that you weren't willing to ever provide service due to your "service area". I'll be calling Pentair tomorrow to let them know of your updated distance policy.

Heather has been amazing from the first phone call! Nothing but a positive experience. Very helpful & responsive. Fast & Friendly and easy to deal with. We have called with some stupid questions, problems, and they always help with anything we need. Highly recommended! Bryan & Margaret Monte

We have been customers of Backyard Dreams since they installed our pool 5 years ago. Their service and knowledge of products is excellent. Service calls are always done in a timely fashion and their staff both in store and out on jobs are friendly and courteous. We wouldn't let anyone else take care of our pool and spa needs!
