I paid for services and devices they never brought out or completed. They refuse to refund me and will not supply me with the photos they promised after cleaning. Bad business, they lost out as I am planning to have significant pool upgrades.

I just used this company again. They still friendly, helpful and good prices. I totally recommend them for your pool repairs. 06/15/ 2022 I finally found a pool service I can recommend to others. Aquamaid employees where very professional and helpful. While having repair done they where able to offer me recommendations for repairs with in my budget. I am happiest I have been in over a year with my pool thanks to Aquamaid. I will use them again when I have pool issues in the future.

My pool service sold/closed down a few months ago. Aquamaid pu our service. The first time in 12 yrs our pool had algae. I sent a pic to the office manager requesting something to fix the issue. Zero call. Sent another email requesting owner contact me. No call. Received a text 5 days later to purchase a device for basket to help with algae. While pool had algae they did a filter service which is redundant as the algae infects the filter then continues to infect the pool. Hired a new pool service & it took 1 week and multiple filter cleans to get pool fixed.

I requested final bill. They sent me 3 different invoice #s for filter cleans. Not the same invoice 3x. They were charging me 3 x for a filter clean they did while pool was infested with algae. Plus, they never called & confirmed I wanted the service to begin with. Tech showed up out of the blue on non sked pool service day. Prior to all of this I received notices to pay my bill AFTER I had already paid it. It's like they were trying to get me to pay twice. There are some shady business practices going on with this company.

The pool service company we used for over 13 years unfortunately sold out to Aquamaid. Within weeks of them servicing my pool I developed a scum line going all around my pool and noticed they weren't moving my pool loungers to brush under them causing algae. Worst service ever!

Their biggest drawback is keeping the customer informed of progress. They do not call back with updates, scheduled times, part availability, etc. I need to keep calling them. Lance Jones, the owner, means well, but I feel his staff and crew are overwhelmed and unable to keep lines of communication open.

This company acquired my account from my local gal. The only notification I received was a text message saying they took over my pool and asked for my email as they needed it for billing purposes back in July. Last week I hadn't received anything or a visit so I texted my old pool gal and that resulted in an email with official letterhead, policy and info.

Nothing about pricing. So yesterday I called the number and spoke with someone who sounded like a child. I began with my story of how they have my pool account and can I speak with someone about my pool services. She was rude from the start and said yeah, tried to answer my questions. I asked when they were coming out and who should I expect. She gave me a male name and I asked if he was an older gentlemen or younger and his race.

So I know. She paused and came back with that shouldn't matter. Um yes, it does I want to know who I'm looking for. She rudely tried again with race shouldn't matter then I asked how long they have been in business and was told since the 80s. And she ended the call. This is not how you handle business. In the past when a company is scheduled to come to my home, I not only get an office call but a text message with the tech info and photo. In this day and age a heads up of who to expect at my front door is not asking a lot. Canceled my account. Unacceptable poor customer service. Wish I could give 0.

Wonderful service! I was so impressed by Joe's fast diagnosis of my pool pump's issue and he was so kind and knowledgeable in walking me through what went wrong and how to fix it. He even took the extra time to show me (a very new pool owner) how my valves work and answered all my questions. He was able to get the new part and fix it within a couple of days. I will definitely be calling y'all again for any future issues! Thank you, thank you!

Everything was going fine considering the circumstances (2021 freeze) until they went to install the heater. They said they needed the gas shut off and told us to call the gas company and left for the day. I got the gas shut off. Then they said the wouldn't even touch the gas lines and I would have to get the propane company to do that part of the install.

When I pointed out that I was paying them $1200 over the sale price of the heater to install the heater and that I expected them to be able to, you know, actually install the heater they refunded for me just the cost of the heater took the new heater and just left the job half done with everything disassembled. Would not recommend.

Wow! I am highly impressed! The service is outstanding! I live in Houston. The freeze makes it VERY HARD to find parts. I ordered a housing for my pump that came damaged. It happens. I called them and Lance answered the phone. He knows his stuff! Called on Monday and got my part on Tuesday afternoon just like he promised. I took a picture of the defective housing and sent it to him He made sure to take the replacement out of manufactures bag to make sure it was not defective.

I am doing my own work on my pool system. He recommended the correct parts to hook my 2 inch PVC pipe to the pump housing. I am VERY impressed. Lance knows the CORRECT way to connect PVC to housing. Lance explained to me why there is a shortage of parts. It took three different stores to find my parts. It was MUCH cheaper than Leslie Pools and Amazon. Aquamaid will be my store to go to.

I have made them a favorite and will keep there info in my pool folder. Five stars is NOT enough stars. I have worked retail for many years. There are few stores that truly care about clients. They care! They arer outstanding! From a very impressed client! I am going to send them a thank you note. I only do that for outstanding service! Em

I do not usually write poor reviews but subsequent to the ice storm Aquamaid has been completely non-responsive. I was a regular customer with weekly services when I first requested the pump to be fixed after the ice storm. It took them a couple of weeks to respond which given the high demand seems reasonable but they never bothered to turn the filter on to test the pump at which time they would have noticed a massive leak and cracking in the pool filter container.

I called to let them know there was a big leak that needed to be fixed so that I could run my pump again. They told me someone would come out that next week and 5 weeks later after multiple phone calls and text messages requesting it to be fixed and multiple no shows I have decided to call another company. They actually sent someone to my house during this 5 weeks that basically told the office there was a big leak but no one communicated to me or made any attempt to schedule a repair after my multiple requests.

However they still managed to keep sending me constant bills for services they weren't performing. When I called to tell them I would need to find a new pool service they actually sounded relieved because they seem so overwhelmed and disorganized. I would not suggest this pool company especially for repairs. Multiple no shows is unacceptable.

Came across this site. Found my pool guy and it didn't have any ratings. Love them. They care unlike the last guy that disapeared with no reason. I tell everyone to use them.
