We have been using APPI for almost seven years now and have enjoyed consistently excellent service. Recently they fixed a leak in the system, which involved extensive replumbing work. APPI walked us through all the steps and worked with our timeline. They completed the job in a professional and cost-conscious manner and to our complete satisfaction.

Even though we have only used APPI for repairs, filter cleaning, and vacation service and not for weekly pool maintenance, they have always treated us like valuable customers. Highly recommended!

Our hot tub suddenly stopped working, and I reached out to APPI for a service visit. Jon responded promptly and offered a few things I could check first, mainly items I had already checked related to power. But here's the better part: after I replied that I had already checked those things, Jon went further to give me suggestions, and ended up directing me to a fuse that was not obviously blown, how to check it, and where to find a replacement part.

All without pushing a service visit! You don't often find this level of helpful service these days, and it speaks to the character of a person who knows the value of earning future business over just a quick buck. Thanks Jon.

We have been customers of APPI for many years. We buy all our pool supplies from them and they have serviced/repaired our hot tub and pool machinery efficiently for a very long time. Recently we had to buy a new (expensive) pool pump which we purchased through APPI and they installed it. We had multiple teething problems but Jon Roddick, the owner, was very responsive and returned promptly to deal with the issues.one of which according to the manufacturer 's technicians. they had never seen or experienced before! All is now working and we appreciate the fine level of customer service Jon provided.

A customer of mine, who has a pool with a lot of deferred maintenance, went to Appi Pool and Spa and got some great help in the showroom. I suggested that they consider hiring Jon to come out and give everything a once over to make sure everything is functioning properly. Long story short, he fixed a few things that had been overlooked, and they ended up liking Jon so much, they decided to hire him to maintain pool.

Now the family could just enjoy the pool and not have to wonder if it is being done correctly. It is not every day a customer goes out of their way to call you, and thank you for a referral, but they did.

I've used APPI Pool & Spa many times over the last several years. Most recently, they ordered the cover operator (arm) for my hot tub and a custom cover. Their staff called as soon as it arrived, and it fits like a glove. I always recommend this shop to business associates, friends and family that have a pool or spa. Good people, reliable service.

I need a part urgently to fix my hot tub. They didn't have the part in stock, but they were really nice and professional. They advised me on who might maybe have it. Thanks.

The guy working took my questions seriously (I thought I might get a little snark for my silly pool but not at all!!) and totally solved my problem. I hope I don't have any more pool problems but if I do I know where I'm going: APPI!!!!

I've been meaning to write a review for a while. These guys are great! SO helpful! I am a new hot tub owner (did not even buy my hot tub from Appi) and they spent a lot of time teaching me how to care for my new hot tub. They even helped me diagnose a problem I was having. Thanks Appi!

I bought a 40 X 18 foot pool from APPI several years ago. The quality of the pool is excellent and the staff have always been very helpful. They have also services the pool as well as my hot tub for years. I know I can count on them to do a great job. I Hightower recommend them. Thanks guys

I have an older SPA that had been sitting empty for about three years. When I filled it back up, I discovered it had a leak that needed to be repaired. Living on the Santa Cruz side of the hill, I found it really hard to find anybody to even come out and look at it. What is more, I was worried that, given its age, it would not be worth repairing. I even contacted the company that originally sold it to me, and they weren't interested in the business, but were happy to sell me a new one if I wanted.

I contacted APPI after reading a positive review and they didn't disappoint. They came out that weekend, and to my horror, they discovered that a rodent had taken up residence in the foam and chewed through tubing and some electrical wires. I would not have blamed them if they had just said "Sorry, I think it is a lost cause", but he soldiered on through.

What is better, the bill for the service was exceptionally reasonable. I was preparing myself for something around three times what he eventually charged. These guys are a good, hard working, honest bunch.

Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and really take the time to explain what you need to know to keep your pool in tip-top shape. Plus, they even handle beautiful poolside decks for your home. I would highly recommend them!
