Ray Alderete and team designed and build a truly beautiful pool to accommodate my physical handicaps and small space! They listened to every wish and suggestion I had during completion and those things were immediately accomplished. Both value and service from the Ray team are outstandingly! I love my pool and am so grateful for their skillful and thoughtful work!

We found Ray online on Houzz. And his reviews were all amazing. I said, he HAS to have a bad review out there. I hunted and hunted online and could not find one bad review out there. I emailed him and 2 other pool companies to come out and give us a quote. Ray was very responsive and came right away. Out of the 3 companies, Ray was not the cheapest and I am glad I didn't cheap out and go with the lowest bid. Ray's prices were very fair, what he quotes you he will honor.

He did not nickel and dime us along the way. And lord knows he could have! I asked him to move the gas line for our fire pit THREE TIMES! And countless other things I changed my mind about! Ray was so patient with me and all he wanted was to make sure he delivered exactly what we wanted. He quoted us a 12 week lead time.he is going to kill me for writing this.

He started digging on June 15th, and we filled up our pool on August 15th. AMAZING! Building a pool is big job and going through construction is not fun. But having Ray and his company building our dream pool made the whole process seamless. We are so happy with our pool but we miss seeing Ray every day! How often do you see the owner of a pool company at your house every morning at 6:30 AM getting ready for the day and hosing down the front yard and street at the end of the day?

His company also does Solar. That was the biggest no brainer. They just finished installing our solar panels last month. Again. Just a great company that you can trust and that stands behind their work. Alderete Pools built our back yard in 2004 and it was time for some sprucing up. The rocks on our "spool" needed painted, a crack in the pebble tech needed repair and are pavers needed a major clean up. Ray arranged for everyone that we needed to get the job done and done right! It came out beautiful! Rocks all painted and sealed, Pavers all cleaned up, re-sanded and sealed. The whole yards is like brand new! Thank You Alderete Pools!

AMAZING company! They truly are there for you, for anything you need. They did a complete backyard renovation for us. 8 YEARS later, they came out and fixed an issue, THAT I CAUSED. They are so friendly and professional. You definitely get the family business vibe. They care about their customers. I can't say enough about them. If you ever need anything for your home renovation, HIRE them.they will be there for you. I just can't recommend them enough. I would give them more stars if I could. A+++

Ray and the entire team did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were able to completely revitalize our old and decaying pool and turn it into a true work of art. Their degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and desire to get the job done right is unparalleled. If you are looking to have a new pool installed or have your existing pool remodeled, I would highly recommend using Alderete Pools! I will be using them next for solar panel installation!

Ray Alderete and his team did a wonderful job building our inground pool/spa. Building a pool is a major project, but they made it as easy as possible. We looked at 6-7 different pool builders and found Ray to be the best balance of quality and value out of all of the builders. From the day the contract was signed to when we had a pool filled with water was about 12 weeks, of which 2 weeks were delays on our side due to the custom order on materials we selected.

We had read or heard of various horror stories - like how after your contract is signed you no longer see the person you originally worked with. That wasn't the case here as we saw Ray almost every day and he met with his crews at the start and ending of each major construction phase to make sure no detail wasn't left out. We also liked that Alderete Pools was a 3 generation company (we met and worked with his son Toby as well, who was awesome) - and they have a CA license of that age to back it up unlike a few other companies that would advertise decades of experience only to have a CA license that was a few years old.

This was important to me as well, as it meant they built a business to last and I figure they can only do that by keeping happy customers and building quality pools. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alderete pools to anyone.

I can't say enough about Ray an Tim from Alderete Pools. From start to finish they were here for us and helped us stop a leak in our spa that no other pool company could. Other pool companies made promises and then never followed up. Alderete Pools came daily to check after their repair and were honestly the best people we have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend using Alderete Pools.

Ray and team did a magnificent job with our pool / yard and we couldn't be happier with the results. We originally hired a different pool company and realized about a two months into it with them that they weren't going to be a good fit with us. Their behavior included stringing us along, over promising, never showing up, etc. Honestly don't know how they're still in business but they have somewhat of a brand name in the space.

The experience with Ray, Tim, Toby, and the team was entirely opposite. True professionals from the top down. They said the demo would begin on Monday and it began on Monday. Said the iron work would take 4 days and it took 3. Said the pool would be ready in August and it was done in July. I needed landscape / hardscape done as well and they helped manage that for us. Couldn't have asked for more.

My neighbors loved them too. They were extremely courteous and respectful with them. All in, we are exceptionally pleased with the results. From start to finish they made the process so easy and the end product was truly top notch.

What can I say, Ray and his team were awesome in every way. We hired Alderete Pools after getting multiple quotes on a pool install/ backyard redo last year. Here are just some of the reasons of why I would recommend Alderete Pools to anyone. 1. Ray was the only contractor that worked with our very tight budget. Most quotes were over by roughly 20k but not Ray.

We originally didn't think we could afford him but he made it work without cutting corners. Ray is easy going and really just a very friendly and approachable guy. That made the planning and designing phase a breeze. 2. Ray showed up every morning to go over the work being done and inspect the previous days work. He was never late, he never missed a day and neither did his team. 3. Ray was very responsive to emails and phone calls.

He either answered immediately or responded within an hour max. In most cases he would respond in a few minutes. I've never worked with a contractor like that before. Just this morning I emailed Ray with questions about a fire pit install. I didn't hire Ray for the job (should have) and our pool has been done for over a year but he responded to my questions immediately and even offered to come out and instruct the installer on how to do it right! 4. Ray and team did all the little things that most would charge extra for or just not do at all. Tim helped me fix a stuck hose faucet one afternoon before he left and even repaired a sprinkler which had nothing to do with the pool install. Tim also repaired my side gate no charge. If you're thinking about a pool, you would be doing yourself a major disservice if you didn't at least get a quote from Alderete Pools!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Ray and the Alderete Team to design and build our spa and entertainment area in the backyard. Ray is AWESOME! He worked with my wife and I and designed it to our every need even after multiple changes that my wife and I wanted. He answered every question no matter how silly they may have seemed. Tim his project manager oversaw every detail of the build and made sure that everything was right. Tim's attention to detail was so reassuring and he made sure that the project came out perfectly.

I cannot say enough about these guys. The build was on time and within budget. The workers were all top notch and perfectionists. My wife and I strongly recommend this Family owned company and feel like they are all part of our family now. Thank you Ray, Tim, Toby, and the Entire Alderete Team!

Over the years I have spoken with many of my neighbors about getting a pool. The one name that comes back over and over is Alderete Pools. People always complain about contractors but I've never heard anyone say anything bad about Alderete. Actually people sing praises about these guys.

Ray and all his team were wonderful to work with. We received several bids but went with Alderete Pools because Ray seemed to know exactly what he was talking about, was honest about costs and expectations. They did exactly what they said they could do and more! I would give them 10 stars if I could. We had just moved from Utah and didn't have years of connections with others in the area, so we went off our feeling and references. Alderete Pools definitely had the best references out there. Our backyard and pool are as nice as any5 star resort. We will definitely recommend them or use them again if needed.

We had three quotes and decided on Alderete Pools not because their quote was the best, almost, but because Ray was diligent, direct and honest. We had decided on Alderete Pools but thought we could get a few more months out of our current system (see pictures). Fate had other ideas and with a broken/worn filter clamp that was no longer being made we were forced to move faster than we had planned. Ray, his son and staff were quick to get everything done in one day so we didn't have to wait and watch our pool turn green.

They answered all my questions, we very patient at showing us everything we needed to know and even gave me a great resource for a pool guy in our area who knew our new system well. We cannot say enough about how easy it was to work with Alderete Pools, when we are ready to remodel our pool they will be our only call.

We have no hesitation in recommending Alderete Pools to take your idea from a concept to a finished product. Ray and his team are 100% professional and will insure that you will get the pool of your dreams. The Alderete team did a terrific job putting in our new pool and spa. Ray Alderete was one of the first contractors that we met with to discuss our thoughts for installing a pool. Ray gave us great insight into what we should expect and the costs associated.

We had a plan drawn up and contacted several pool contractors and put the job out to bid. Alderete was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. They responded to all our questions in a prompt business like fashion. The reason I went with Alderete is because Alderete has been in business for many years and they have perfected the art of pool building to insure the project is run in a smooth and efficient manner.

I read as many review as I could find online. I called some references and spoke with them on their experiences with Alderete and satisfied myself that Ray his crew were the real deal. I have no hesitation in recommending Alderete and can say that it has been a pleasure working with all of the team members, including Ray, Tim, and Toby and special kudos go to the guys who work so hard to make sure the customer is happy, in our case Victor and his crew.

I have never seen a group of people work so hard in my life. They are an all-around great group of guys that will do everything in their power to make sure you get the pool you want.

We used Alderete about a year ago for our solar and they did such a great job, we decided to price them out for our yard remodel as well. We were very happy with the job, they were able to listen to our needs and turn our dreams into reality. We did pavers, coping, quartz pool finish (highly recommend!), a custom fireplace, and a bbq/kitchen area.

They were very reasonable compared to our other quotes, and they stuck to their quote, they didn't add on things throughout the project. Their workers show up on time (if not early) and they worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner. We were even ahead of schedule! They also did a great job on their clean up. We were very satisfied and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Ray and Tim are great to work with. They are flexible to work with and their quality of work is excellent! They are very responsive and we love the job they did. Our job entaliled a pool, spa, water features, all new hardscape and new landscaping. We renovated our entire back yard and Ray and team did a great job and were super easy to work with.

I can't say enough about the Alderete family. Not only did they do a very thorough and professional job on our families pool and solar.but they were always punctual and efficient with their work and above all held the customer #1 Example.during construction of our pool some debris was blown into my neighbors pool and rather than creating angry neighbors and drama for everyone the Alderete paid for a cleaning of my neighbors pool out of their own pocket.it's all about the customer.

First class outfit from the initial phone call to the final product. Ray, Shea and Toby truly care about the customer service and satisfaction. Not a detail was overlooked. The Alderete team is punctual, courteous, respectful, and honest. Any of which is a rarity in the construction world but these guys have it all. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a pool built. An extra bonus is that they do solar too! I will have to wait on the solar portion for now but I know who to call when the time comes. Thanks guys for your hard work and expertise!
