A-Beautiful Pools: very poor customer service, which can't be trusted with customer's credit card information. See below:
I recently booked the swimming pool at Westgreen Park in Katy, TX. on 11 August 2012 for my son's 4th birthday. To do this I pre-paid with my credit card $25 to reserve the pool and $42 to pay for an extra lifeguard for 2 hours ($21 per hour?).
On Wednesday when we learned that we needed to change the date of the party to Sunday 5 August, I was met with resistance saying that all pool parties must be made within 10 days. Please know we didn't need to notify A-Beautiful Pools about the party in the first place because 90% of the guests (10) were residents with pool badges already. After A-Beautiful Pools said we could have the party, they charged my credit card $50 without my consent or authorization, stating 'for extra paperwork and man-power' to change the date on the calendar.
I asked how much extra man-power and paperwork does it take to change a date on the calendar. I never received a response, and they did not return a call made to them Friday afternoon (3 August) to address this matter. A-Beautiful Pools did not call me to ask for authorization (like they did for the previous $25 and $42 charge) for this latest charge.
This was very unprofessional and unacceptable. I am now concerned that this company has my credit card information to make any charge they want at any time. A-Beautiful Pools refused to reverse the credit card charge that was made without my permission. This incident has been reported to the Westgreen Park HOA and will be brought up at the next HOA meeting, along with the Texas Attorney General's Office.
I would advise any body to think twice before having a function at a pool managed by A-Beautiful Pools, they will make it unpleasant for you and treat you in a very unprofessional manner, and do not, I repeat do not give them your credit card information.
