Brian is extremely helpful, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I told him my issues with my 30ft above ground pool and he immediately diagnosed the problems. Within 2 days, I had a crystal clear swimming pool that I have been battling with for 3 years. He stopped me from spending any more money on harsh chemicals and educated me on the (3) things I needed to run my DE Filter. He was very honest, patient and informative. 10 STARS!

Generic voicemail. EXTREMELY unprofessional.can't give even a remote idea of when he can do a warranty job. He said he's not a dentist so he has no idea. MAYBE next Tuesday or Wednesday?! I don't mind having to wait a bit but would appreciate at least a day that they will attempt. His response: I don't need you or this job, I have plenty of work. Great! I'll let Pentair know. What a jerk

After meeting with several pool installers we decided to hire Brian from your pool pal. He knew more about pool construction than any one else we met with and our sense was that he was 100% honest. I am a fanatic when it comes to details and the quality of workmanship. We only wanted a small non diving pool with a real shallow end we decided on the Celebrity 18 X 27.

Construction started with the site work digging the hole, the contractor Brian utilizes was by far one of the best machine operators we have ever seen. Brian showed up shortly after installed the walls plumbing and bottom cement. Brian is not only the owner and sales person, he is also the guy involved in every phase of the pool construction that is why he is so good at selling the product he knows what it takes.

The patio was handled by another contractor that Brian utilizes and he did an amazing job, just like you would expect at this stage of the install. less than 2 weeks later the pool was complete. Brian explained to us about different pool pumps & heaters. We went with the salt system and the gas heater, best choice we ever made the pool is consistently clear and we barely have to add any chemicals. Honest sales approach, Equipment knowledge and a true Craftsman, Shop him last and you will hire him guaranteed.

If I could give him minus stars I would. I am embarrassed to admit that I allowed myself to be ripped off by the owner of Your Pool Pal, Brian, not just once, but twice. Originally I had called a number of above ground pool companies and I chose Your Pool Pal after talking with Brian and having him come to my home to review my property set up and show me his above ground pools.

Although he was trying more to sell me an in ground, I explained that I had just retired and on a limited budget so an in ground was beyond my price range and I just wanted an above ground pool to enjoy my retirement in. He assured me he would be on site during the process and that the brand of above ground pool he carried was one of the industries best.

There was a guarantee and he would be able to start in a timely manner. The pool was a 27 ft round Nova purchased on April 30, 2014 at a total cost of $7,821 including installation. I was told it would be installed by June 1, 2014. This seemed to be expensive to me, but it was supposed to be a top of the line pool with an upgraded liner and it included a propane heater as well as a through the wall light.

The pool was installed June 30, well beyond expected time. Brian came by maybe once or twice, his brother actually installed the pool with a couple of guys to help. When the installation was done all the boxes and trash were my responsibility to get rid of, I didn't know this until after it was all just left there in a pile and told that it was my responsibility.

The through the wall light which never worked and they just gave up on it, as did I. I had a pool to swim in so the light was just a loss. The pool was used for 2-1/3 months then winterized and covered according to directions. The pool collapsed before I opened it Spring of 2015, I called Brian at Your Pool Pal and sent him pictures in May 2015. Brian blamed me and claimed I winterized it wrong.

I couldn't believe that I had winterized it wrong because I had done nothing out of the ordinary according to closing a pool. The walls of the pool buckled, the liner fell in, the cover ripped and water drained out. After spending all the money for a pool, having it for less then a year and left with just nothing but a mess I thought he'd stand by the pool.

He said he would come over to check it out. He came and saw that the pool had collapsed and although blaming me, said he would contact the manufacturer and replace the pool at his cost and charge me additional for an upgraded liner and installation plus I had to pay to fill it, all totaling just under $4,000. I had no alternative but to pay him to replace the pool or just forget about a pool.

I chose to replace the pool. It took a couple of times for him to get the correct size pool delivered and then his brother installed it. The replacement pool was installed exactly one year from the original installation. Again, I have to get rid of the boxes and trash from the installation. Only this time I have sheets of cut steel pool walls to dispose of and the liner to cut up and dispose of.

But I have a Pool That fall I again winterized the pool, put on the new heavy duty cover since the old cover was also destroyed when the pool collapsed. Spring 2016, the pool was fine and opened for the summer with no issues, except for feeling some stones on the bottom which I stayed away from and Brian said they wouldn't tear through the bottom because of the bottom liner pad under the liner.

I winterized the pool and Spring of 2017 the pool was fine and there were no issues. I winterized the pool that fall the same as I had done the previous fall. February 2018 I walk behind the pool and notice it is buckled and water is coming out of it. It still has most of the water in it but there's a leak. I call Brian and tell him. He tells me that I must have done something to the pool.

I did not. The pool is only buckled along the back bottom. The liner had not fallen in and the cover was still secure. He told me to call the manufacturer and it's the same people who supplied the liner. I thought he would take care of it. I can't find any number for the manufacturer and when I try to call the liner people, the phone is no longer in service.

I call Brian back and he still hasn't returned my call. I'm getting an aluminum pool in by a more reputable person. The dead pool was taken down and the seam between the bottom and the side of the liner was split, therefore the liner was defective, something Brian might have noticed if he would have been an honest person. It was also noted that the liner was very thin. not the extra heavy duty one I thought I was paying for. twice.

If you have him install an above ground pool, go over the paperwork because he's charming but he's an operator. I suppose he does better work on in ground pools and at this point I'll have spent enough to almost have bought an in ground pool.

When we decided to get rid of our 10-year-old above ground pool, we went through all the research about gunnite vs fiberglass vs vinyl liner pools. Once we decided the vinyl liner construction was best for our needs, we shopped for pool construction companies. We were also having landscape work done, and our landscaper had a list of 3 companies they worked with, so we started with those.

Not being happy with any of them (one had closed their NH operation and required a drive to Maine to do business, for example) we shopped around at a few local places and talked to friends who had installed pools similar to what we wanted. Among the things that stood out about Brian (Owner of Your Pool Pal) during the shopping process were his responsiveness to questions, his knowledge of the industry and available technologies, the lack of any hard sell or upsell, and his willingness to work with the complex set of contractors we had in play: a landscaper, a contractor building a shed, the pool deck aggregate company, and so on.

Our positive experience continued through pool construction and deliver. Brian's subcontractors were top notch. The excavator, for example, drew rave reviews from our landscaping company. They came when planned, delivered on what they were supposed to, and left the job site orderly and in good shape. The pool itself is exactly what we wanted and exactly as contracted.

A few points deserve special mention. When we laid out the pool and deck in our landscape plans, the stairs were going to take up a bit more space than we wanted from the seating area on our deck. Brian found us integrated interior stairs that perfectly fit the bill for our pool shape and layout. We had an existing heater from our above ground pool which was fairly new, and we wanted to reuse that. Brian had no issue with this, and performed a needed repair (due to mice taking up residence in the heater over the winter) at a very reasonable price.

And speakign of repairs, Brian knows the products and had the right parts handy for every situation that arose during construction and for our heater. In summary, Brian does good work, delivers on his promises, and sells good products at a reasonable price. All in all I couldn't be more positive about our experience. We had been told by others that choosing a pool company meant finding "the best of the worst, " but Brian is somebody I can recommend to anyone looking for an inground pool.

This will be a funny review. We actually didn't build the pool but I wanted to say that IF we did put a pool in, Brian from Your Pool Pal would have been the one we chose. We did in fact choose him but over the winter, elected to scrap the project for a few reasons. Before that happened, however, we interviewed 5 different companies from Southern ME to Northern MA.

We talked to references, listened to friends who put pools in and did online research. When it was all said and done, Brian came out on top. He spend a ton of time reviewing his process and how he builds a pool and why he does what he does using the vendors and materials that he has chosen over the years. It really helped instill confidence in the company.

I also liked that he himself would be involved in the building of the pool. Some other companies send a sales person out who you would not see again or they sub contract out the work. In addition, Brian included items in his kit that other companies don't like electrical. He also used some foam in the shallow end that others didn't even think of, use a concrete bottom, and the use of quality plumbing design and materials that others skimped on.

The free closing in the first year was also an added surprise! While part of me still wishes we moved forward, some work and personal commitments kept us from pursuing the pool project. I would certainly recommend Brian and urge everyone to look at the intangibles he included in his kit vs. the others and also compare the use of materials used.

Brian installed a 55ft x 10ft salt water lap pool in a very tight spot for us this summer. With his mechanical expertise, engineering knowledge and excellent team Brian built our in-ground pool with precision in a timely fashion. He listened to what we wanted offering excellent advise based on his years of experience. If you are looking for a trustworthy pool installer who will build you a quality pool at a fair price this is your guy.

Brian D is not a good business owner in my opinion. He is rude, abrasive, condescending and very unorganized. Brian states that he will be on the job from start to finish. The only time he was there was to collect a check and yell at his below average crew. Everything to do with my pool was one delay after the next. He will tell you your pool is "next" on the list but "next" to him means months away and 4 pools later.

Do yourself a favor and go on the BBB website and read about his complaints and how he responds to them in a very harsh manner which is the trait of a very bad company owner. He will offer you discounts and then say he never agreed to them. Overall my experience with Yourpoolpal was not something I would never recommend to others.

Stay far far away. From the beginning I thought Brian was my best choice to install my inground pool but boy I haven't been more wrong about anything in my life. He had no problem taking a deposit but when it came time to install it was one delay after the next. Brian does not know which way is up. I truly wish I did not sign up with his company.

He will tell you anything you want to here before he gets your deposit but once that deposit is in hand you would have thought my pool didn't exist. Like a previous poster mentioned, his communication skills are terrible and that couldn't be more spot on. If you do chose to have Brian install your pool be sure to get everything in writing, never verbally agree to anything.

After verbally agreeing to a price for a salt water generator the price on his invoice was almost double what we had agreed to. Shame on me for not realizing this early on in the process but hopefully you won't make the same mistake I did.

We bought a house with an in-ground pool already in place, but it had been closed for four years. We thought we'd never get it clean, and struggled for some time on our own. I found Brian's business online, as I was looking for a local company, and gave him a call. He came out and took a look at our filter and our pool, and just as we had suspected, we needed to replace the 25-year-old filter.

He and his crew installed the new filter in a very timely manner, and even when my husband and I were getting discouraged, wondering if we were ever going to have clear water, he kept encouraging us, and telling us what to do. Lo and behold, we now have a perfectly clear pool thanks to Brian! He's called my husband to check on how things have been going, and has really been helpful with all of the questions we've had for him. I would definitely recommend him in a heartbeat!

Winter of 2015 was a tough one! My AG pool developed a crack directly bellow the return. The pool is only 5 years old and did not want to spend thousands of dollars replacing it. In the mist of searching Google, I came upon "Your Pool Pal." Well the owner Brian has been a God Send. Brian's company sells replacement wall sections for my particular problem.

But being a honest person, Brian suggested a far less costly, just as effective solution to my problem. The one thing that really impressed me, Brian's pool company is in Auburn, NH, and I'm located on the Eastern End of Long Island, Ny. Brian could of easily shipped me a replacement panel for a few hundred dollars, but instead, asked me to email pictures of the damage and walked me step by step over the phone regarding my repair. You folks in Auburn, NH are very lucky to have Your Pool Pal to service your AG and IG pool needs. Thanks Brian Bobby, Suffolk County, Ny

I recently had a pool installed by your pool pal in August 2013. I got his name from a friend that had a pool installed from them in the past. Almost all my neighbors have swimming pools and I think ours is by far the nicest one. We were swimming and enjoying our pool within 2 weeks of the start of the install. Brian and his crew were professional and did not destroy our yard in the process. Thank you Brian!

We absolutely love our new pool by Your Pool Pal! Working with Brian was great. He was professional, honest, informative and there were no surprises. Everything was on time as promised! The pool filtration system is awesome. Cleaning and maintaining the pool is a snap; especially with the salt system we chose. We love the fact that the pool deck is supported by "deck braces", extra piece of mind during New England winters. The finished product is gorgeous and we look forward to many many years of enjoyment in our backyard oasis. Thanks Brian! Rick and Kati

A Great Company to work with . I would recommend your pool pal to anyone putting in a pool. They were fantastic. They were bang on with price and time frame. He promised my son he would be swimming within 10 days and made it happen. Brian and his crew did outstanding work. We couldn't ask for better. We are looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

Brian Thanks for the great Job!!!
